Around SBN: Did The Giants Run Buddy Ryan's 'Polish Goalline'?

They were already trying to count us out

The depth of this team was seriously underestimated by the media this week. In spite of sidelining injury to 3 star players we came through like the premiere team we are.

We showed versatility in the running game; the combination of Tomlin's patience and alternating between the different running styles of Parker and Davenport took a lot of pressure off of Big Ben.

Speaking of Ben, he displayed a level of sensibility in the passing game which has a habit of coinciding with a win. Again I think this was thanks to a consistent running game that he was able to stay cool in the second half, but it wasn't too long ago I remember a certain Quarterback (rhymes with Yothlsnerder) who would have been throwing rotten tomatoes by the end of the second half.

great point on depth
I think the fact we played without our top two recievers and Ben still only had 4 encompletions should be very incouraging to Steeler's fans.

41 rushes for 163 yards -- what a time for the running game to dominate.
