Hudson Houck...

It seems when ever I hear this guys name, its about how he is getting his teams OL to over achieve. Hudson Houck is the former O-Line coach of the Miami Dolphins. He also worked in SD. It has been suggested (with good reason) that we need to upgrade our O-Line coaching. If I had my druthers, the Steelers would get this guy, but it may be difficult. According to John Clayton (Insider I think):
http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?name=clayton_john

"Houck is in demand. Within a couple hours of his release from the Dolphins, seven teams called to express their interest. Houck is considered one of the best offensive line coaches in the league, which is one of the reasons he's paid like an offensive coordinator."

Interesting
It'd be nice to see a new coach there.  That and special teams requires action.

Also as a question is being an Insider worth it?  ESPN has so much crap that's insider I tend to stay away from their page a lot except for some of the page 2 stuff.  If the insider stuff is really worth it I'd probably sign up.  Anyone have any opinions on the quality of the articles locked up by the insider tags?

Wondered the same myself
I've hardly ever go to ESPN b/c it seems like so much of their stuff is 'Insider.' I've always wanted to check out Mel Kiper's stuff though, so I've wondered if it's worth it.
Time to take the training wheels off this offense.

nah
Don't pay. Email me if there's ever an article you really really want to read. I'll cut and paste the text (I hope ESPN doesnt read this!)

Put it this way, if you're the type of person who signs up for things and doesnt do a good job cancelling, definitely dont do it. They recharge you every month until you take action. This is all in the name of a few extra articles by John Clayton or whatever. With all the good free info out there, I personally dont think its worth it, even though I myself have an account.

RE: Insider
To be honest I've had it for a few years now, so I don't even notice what is and isn't insider. For me it is worth it because it drove me nuts to click on something and not have access. Do I need it? Probably not, but like I said I don't paying for the access.

Piggying backing on Blitz..
If I see something worth mentioning, I'll be sure to copy and paste the content. Blitz is right, 99% of the info is the same stuff you can get from other sites. I do enjoy Claton's, Kiper's and Mcshay's stuff though. Also, K.C. Joyner has more of a statistical approach which is interesting, but he has his own website too:

draft info
Would be nice to see some articles about draft prospects, combines, trade rumours and draft projections as we get into March-April. Any Insider articles on those topics would be much appreciated.

insider
i've had it for almost two years now, it's great.  the scouts inc. stuff is really the stuff i like best, especially when they breakdown games in advance every week.  i'm happy to copy and paste stuff if people need be.  it's only like 6 bucks/month, and you get ESPN the magazine subscription for signing up for it.

the insider thing
pisses me off.  Almost all of the entire draft content is insider.  Kiper's not even the best at what he does.  I'll take Mayock's assessments of college players over him any day.  I refuse to pay a site for the right to get information from a place where they advertise and make money already.

Mayock
I agree, I prefer watching the NFLN draft coverage to ESPN for that reason.  Mayock is better, and they also bring in other experts.  Usually, Kiper throws out the measurables and a few clips, but not as detailed as Mayock.
