Cinci a threat?
With week 6 almost wrapped up I figure we can talk a little about next week. The Steelers are getting the well deserved rest they need, but how hard will it be to send a team to 0-7? With the Rams getting a win today and Houston getting their first, is Cincinnati too disfunctional to let the hunger drive them or are they next in line for their first win? Let me know what you guys think.

If carson palmer sits out yet again our oracle backup safety guarantees a victory, and this time he would be right. He’ll probably be back next week though just in time to go 0-7 anyhow. Off a bye week there is no reason for this game to be close, but the steelers have to come to play.

agreed
Pitt can’t let the Bungals record dictate the way they come to play. They have to play with emotion from the coin toss. Might be a little early to speak but maybe if we can get a good enough lead early on we can sit Ben as to not let him get hit anymore than he has to.

After i just watched
The Redskins upset by the Rams, and the Cowboys beat by the Cardinals…anything is possible. We have to come ready to play or we could face a shameful loss.

“The Bengals gained just 43 yards rushing on 21 carries, with Fitzpatrick’s 23 leading the way.”
Ouch.

Every Team
is a threat. I am worried about playing on the road, Carson Palmer, an 0-7 rabid dog backed into a corner, 85 (who I hear can dance but I’ve never seen!) our O line etc.
Steelers need to remain focused and get the W. This one is a HUGE game because of the playoff caliber talent we must face during remainder of the schedule after Cincy. Run the ball, protect the QB and get a 3-2 win and 50 will be ecstatic!

I'm always a bit scared of an team without a win
but Cincy is only a threat to ‘wet themselves’ before the game starts.

Critical game
that we cannot afford to lose. I think Cincy will fold like a cheap tent if we get out of the blocks early and put up a couple of Td’s. I, for one, cannot see Fitzpatrick leading them to victory against our D, or their D slowing down Big Ben.

Hoping it doesn't take Ben
I’d like to see us ram the ball down their throats and only pass the ball 10-15 times. Fact is if we could go a game without seeing Ben get bounced around like a pinball I’d be ecstatic.

honestly...
i think the Bungels are last years Miami, they’ll get a win, but its gonna be late in the season, against a very crappy team. we are not crappy…in my eyes we are the best team in the league, and im sure almost everyone agrees with me on that. dont worry, im sure we will dominate

Have to avoid
the trap game. We generally come off the bye week slow. If Carson plays and can get them off to a fast start we may be in trouble. We should dominate…but I thought we would dominate the Broncos last year, who couldn’t stop the run but instead we threw and threw. Have to be balanced and do what we do. Be interesting to see who is for sure coming back when Tomlin holds in press conference tomorrow.

Palmer's out
lewis said that Fitzpatrick will start. Sounds like a nice 10 sack say for Harrison and Woodly

elbow strain?
They claim he’s got an elbow issue, but for anyone who throws for a living, that is a world of hurt, figuratively and literally. I’d put it at even money that he doesn’t play for the rest of the year, after undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery (elbow ligament replacement) in a couple of weeks.
You don’t go out shopping for second opinions when you get good news from the doctor. If you see him visit Dr. Andrews in Birmingham then you’ll know the date and time that the Bengals gave up the ghost for 2008.

looks like
it might be a Steeler sellout in Cincy …that certainly won’t help Cincy get it going.
