Eason Out?
Buried in this article about Ben (who you know is going to play), Tomlin sounds doubtful that Eason will play on Sunday. He's the only important guy other than Ben that missed practice on Thursday. That could be the final straw for our DL that F's up our depth and rotation against a team that's going to run the ball. The only pickup that could help us at all is Paxson off the PS. I'm not one for complaining about injuries, and I'm glad the team isn't either, but jeez all friday. Here's who's probably out for this game:
- Our 2x Pro Bowl RB, our first round draft pick RB, and our starting FB.
- Our starting RG
- 2 starting DL's, including our multi Pro Bowl NT, and our top backup DE.
- Robo-Punter
For whatever reason all our injuries are at 2 positions. I guess the good news is we're actually going to miss Nick Eason. Who saw that one coming 6 months ago? The other good news is that our top 7 DL's have all played well, when we were worried about the #4 guy a few months ago. I think the better rotation is really helping them out.

Eason
he’s been surprisingly solid this year. I’ve been noticing that he gets his hands on a fair number of passes.
Bring back Kyle Clement!
Russell is back, and Legursky is back, we just need Kyle……:)
he had an injury
and was going to be out a couple months before we cut him.

haha
Actually Kyle’s on IR according to the Steelers website. They must have seen something in him if they didn’t just do an injury settlement. If he can get into better condition, I think he could contribute down the road.

Status on Guys Returning?
I’ve heard all about the injuries piling up, but nothing about probable returns . . .obviously the ones I’m most concerned about are FWP, Big Snack, and Kiesel the Diesel. When they coming back? Ready to go right after the break?
Eason is out
It’s official, as with the usuals. Questionable are: Big Ben who will almost certainly man up, P. Bailey and A. Frazier.
We were talking earlier this week about whether or not to try and maintain 6 DLs and the roster moves it would entail to keep 6. Now there will need to be a roster move just to keep 5. Donovan looks to be out of the woods (couldn’t resist) for ST, so maybe we swap Paxson with Bailey.
