Around SBN: Cal RB Jahvid Best Seriously Injured, Carted Off Field

tough loss

That was a winnable game, not that the Steelers had a victory that was stolen, but the Giants didn't impose their will.

The positives: Moore comes to play. The rush defense was astounding, when you shutdown Brandon Jacobs, that is impressive. He is one of the best backs in the league. The secondary played well, especially since the pressure brought o Eli wasn't that great. Plaxico was a nonfactor.

The negatives: Ben held the ball too long and made poor reads, Colon struggled, Ward disappeared, Davenport brings nothing to the special teams' game. Injuries (hopeful they are not bad). The offense was crazy bipolar, looking unstoppable at points and then going into punt mode. The first half could have been a blowout, but the second half the steelers had a great chance to cement a lead. I said the secondary played well, but Boss always was open and there TEs could have been more troublesome if they didn't keep dropping passes

COLON is killing my Colon!!!

AAARRRGGHH! Can someone tell this guy he pretty much sucks and has absoloutely no business saying anything to the media! Week after week he says some dumb crap like that line is great and like he can actually play. His holding penalty that brought back the Washington TD that would have put us up 21-9, killed the game. Seriously why F is Starks not starting on the Right side? I know Smith was out today and Starks got beat on the left side at least once today, but seriously this kid can’t handle that style of D and it seems that Ben can’t either. I don’t know exactly what it is with that edge blitz whether it be a CB or LB they came clean through at least 4 times.

Do we face any more of these Jim Johnson disciples/protege in the coming weeks? What the hell happened to Ben and the line in that last half of the 4th quarter. He looked like a flippin statue break there. He didn’t break the pocket and he seemed like he wanted to throw it quick but then had some thought not too and held the ball WAY too long.

Today we beat ourselves, the Giants D did a great job helping that along and did a great job of closing out the game…Hats off to them! That three consecutive debacle with Colon, Keomateau and whoever the hell else was involved in that fiasco…thanks for killing the momentum that was leading to our victory.

Holmes would have been nice, DUMBASS…smoke your blunts in the offseason!

REMOVE THE COLON!

..but only after the Dookie and the Santurdio have passed through.

Or staple the bottom end to the bench, or something.

well

Davenport is back there because he doesn’t fumble the ball (remember returns a few seasons ago), so I dont mind that. But I am pretty sure Ben is bi-polar………….

But speaking of run defense, we did a hell of a job. How about that goaline stop! Truly impressive.
