Ocho Cinco Defends Hines
I was just watching NFL Live and they asked CJ about Hines and the recent mess that surrounds him.
Johnson said, "Hines doesn't mean to be cheap. He plays reciever like a defensive player. No one in the league plays as violently as Hines Ward."
Although it can be miscontrued i find it pretty obvious that Johnson is defending Hines and his tough style of play. I'm glad to hear it too. Hate Chad or not but he defends a Steeler here, a rival. I've always like Johnson but this makes me appreciate him even more. Glad he mentioned the thing about Hines playing like a defensive player because its all defensive players that are complaining about Ward. This makes it fairly obvious that they are being hypocrites.

You know that gives me
a little more respect for Ocho and yes I will say Cinco instead of Stinko JUST THIS ONCE, cause it shows he actually has a brain.
To the tune of the classic children's song "This Old Man" (the part with nick nack patty whack)
Big Snack, Silverback, take the Dawg Pound's Bone, the Black and Gold sent the Brownies crying home.

Well, he may have crazy antics and...
draw a lot of attention to himself, maybe even complain about the Bengals from time to time. However, he has never talked bad about the Steelers. I can’t recall the specifics but I remember hearing awhile back that he defended Ike’s ability as a corner. Also, you would never see Ocho wipe his feet with a Terrible Towel, which is what T.J. Douchemanzedah did (Blitz said it was ok to use that name, so I plan on wearing it out). Say what you will about CJ but he has never disrespected our team, or even talked trash about them from what I can tell.

I honestly hope
TJ gets a good deal on a winning team before he retires, because I honestly feel he deserves it. If the situation were reversed & a Steelers player took an icon of another team & “degraded” it publicly, we’d crack up. It’s a Joey Porter style move. Chad Johnson (Ocho Cinco, by the way, Spanish for eight five, not eighty five … that would be ochenta y cinco) has nothing going for him but a failed audition for the Cowboys.
Rivers has apparently vowed revenge on Hines, but he had to do so through a wired-shut mouth, after losing 12 pounds due to the fact that all his food must be liquefied. Welcome to the pros, rookie.
As far as rivals are concerned, don’t forget that we’re rooting for the Browns this weekend.

i disagree
im for the ravens this week. i think browns pose bigger long term threat, even if a W for Baltimore would keep them close in the short term.

Well...
I could probably be convinced of that, but they have no D … except for “Big Snack 2” … I suppose none of us really knows for certain, but I think Baltimore will be around at the end of the regular season whereas Cleveland will have faded from the spotlight by week 10 or 11.
Who knows … maybe Cleveland is mimicking last-year’s ‘under-the-radar’ run … personally though, I think they’ll fold & Baltimore will be the team we need to beat (again) to keep the ol’ AFC North crown … alternate points of view welcome, however … as said, I can be persuaded…

talk about your bad choices!
that’s like deciding if you’d rather have a root canal or a kick in the groin…

Ocho Stinko
Chad actually redeemed a few points with me after this. Maybe he isn’t that bad after all!

haha, ocho stinko
I personally call him Bozo Cinco. And I despise Housh. Not really because of the towel incedent, although that didn’t help, but because of his usual postgame comments, including several made after KVO took Palmer out of the game in the 2005 postseason. He’s a jerk.

LOL,
I actually had to chuckle when I heard this on NFL Live. I just pictured Rivers saying “What goes around comes around” with his jaw wired shut. Something like mmmpf- mmfr-mmmphff-mmpd-wmmmamm.
Hines is shaking I’m sure.

Well
its not like Rivers is taking it the wrong way. He did say what goes around comes around and that he looks forward to the next time they play, but he also said he would have done the same thing if he were in Hines’ position. At least he understands that aspect of it. He could have come out and said “that was dirt cheap and I’m gonna kill him for it” but instead he said “I would have done the same thing but I do look forward to the next time we play.”
For someone who’s jaw is wired shut I’d say he took it fairly well.

"that was dirt cheap and I’m gonna kill him for it"
Wow, the bengals are ahead of the ravens in the class department. Jesus christ.

No on ever actually said that, well except Bart Crybaby Scott. Rivers could have come out and been an asshole but he’s taken it like a true player and not complained about it

you missed the point
I said he COULD have said something like that, but he didn’t. Re-read it. That posts was actually tipping my hat to Rivers.
