Ben AFC Player Of Week
Congratulations to Big Ben Roethlisberger who according to Pittsburgh Post Gazette has been named AFC offensive player of the week.
As we have all posted all week, Ben has become a team leader and is the reason the Steelers are in every game he plays. I hope he stays healthy all year long. If so, this will not be his only player of the week honor.

Congrats to Ben. But I think our Defense is the reason we’re in every game,…not Ben.

Definite Congrats to Ben! Its a team thing at this point. The D is doing their job at the end of games this season…we are closing games out..instead of playing not to lose. Although I still see the tendency of playing not to lose.

Give credit
Ben gutted us to victory in that game. The defense was great, but for the second week in a row they gave up the go ahead score in the fourth quarter and each time Ben willed the team to victory – carrying his teammates and a couple of defenders on his back along the way. He may not always be the glory qb, but he is the GUTS

they gave up the go ahead score because Ben and the offense couldn’t keep them off the field!!
People not getting the credit they deserve is a huge Pet Peeve of mine. Make no mistake,…if it weren’t for the defense, we would be 1-4 right now. They kept the Eagles game from being a complete blowout which it should have been,…..they were forced to score in the MNF game, then they made some key 3rd down stops. Big Ben gets credit for the Jags game,….but the D gets credit for pretty much everything else.
