Dont Worry, BE(n) healthy!
Really guys, do you (most of) have short memory? Do you remember this offseason talking about how great was BR7, and how young, how elusive, how gameballer he was? Also, we lost to The MANNINGs COlts, the SB champion and one great but inconstant team with a great head coach! BUT
We are playing great defense, one that should and will be remembered for years to come!
Our kicker is very clutch, and I really dont see ANY TEAM better than the Steelers!
The Giants gave 31 points to Eagles last night, 3 tds for WRs such as Avant, Curtis and Baskett? Their DB is very suspicious! We gave them a victory!
The MIGHTY TITANS, the perfect team isnt better than Steelers!
Ya, That OL is the best young OL in Football, but really, Kerry Collins? those WRs? They are almost one-dimensional and their best thing in O is our best on D! Stop the run! I cant see them rushing 100+ yards!
So, we just have to play safer(NO TURNOVERS) to win those big games!
And we need a better punter! Our field position is terrible!
I dont see any reason for desperation! I remember 2005, how our D wasnt clicking and suddenly was great! Our DB was way worse than nowadays!
And Ben is a great QB playing hurt! Play Leftwich, because in January Ben will guide us to our 6th SB? ANY TRUE STEELER concurs?

Marry Me?
I am not sure if you are a guy though cause my home state just outlawed that…
But anyways, I agree. We still have a great team, and the facts are that hurt players struggle, and Ben has struggled. Those interceptions are brutal, but the man came out and took all the blame after the game. His teammates love him, and he just needs to get himself straightened out. I think if all you can complain about is one player, then once he is right, we will all be right. Just have patience people, Ben is our quarterback. We are 6-3, and Ben is our quarterback. :-p

Our losses arent that bad, keep chins up folks
We have to remember with the hardest sched we have tough games.
We lost to an excellent team by 9 points.
We lost to last years SB champs by 7, and we had that game in the bag for a while.
And we lost to the SB Champs of 2 years ago by 4, in another game we could have easily won.
Point is, we could be 8-1. As long as we make it to the postseason we can win out. We have to preserve that first goal obviously but I think we can stay strong.
This team CAN beat anyone, we just have to stop beating ourselves.
I feel i should note, when was the last time a team won the Super Bowl by blowing out teams during the regular season. Last year the Patriots won games by blowing out the enemy only to lose to the giants who went through great games and horrible games. The year before the Chargers were the hot team that everyone thought couldnt be stopped, only to be beaten and the Colts win the SB. The year before that the Colts were the hot thing only to lose to us on out way to winning the Super Bowl.
The teams that win super bowls are the ones that experiance the ups and downs. The ones are able to win close games, the ones who can stop the other team. I hate that we lost the last game as much as the next guy but a few loses arent going to destory everything.
Well Said
Teams that face adversity are usually better. If you have no adversity and win easily, how do you know how you will react when times get touch? Say down by 2 Touchdowns in the SuperBowl? If your not used to facing adversity, then you wont know how to react when you need to face it.
Amen
I believe that we are the best team in the NFL if we do not turn the ball over. There is not a team in the NFL that can beat us if we do not turn the ball over. In the games that we have loss, we have given the ball away 11 times (3 Phi, 5 NYG, 3 IND). I will also like to note that we only got 3 turnovers from those 3 games, all of which were in the Philly game. So we barely lose to 3 great teams without holmes for one, parker for 2, other injureries, and a -8 turnover margin. (NYG -5 IND -3).
Teams score the majority of their points from us giving them the ball with short field position, we stop giving them points and nobody can beat us.

And
We are one of the only teams that can still be in position to win a game while giving the ball up 3+ times. Not many other teams can say that. Most get blown out. That has to do with our Defense and Ben.
Even in Games where Ben has thrown multiple picks, he still moves us down the field alot.
Moslty D not Ben
because yes he moves the ball but then again gives the ball away. 12 out of 14 turnovers were because of him. But i don’t really care about that anymore as long as he stays healthy and keeps playing like he just did against SD, wish they would still sit him until he is fully healthy because he can’t throw it deep still. But oh well, a win is a win.
