Justin Miller- WE NEED TO SIGN HIM
Justin Miller- CB of the Jets was cut today!to make space for the elderly Ty Law! We need him as PR/KR, and maybe Nickel!
He was a great returner and solid CB, and is very young, I think would worth the risk!
I cant stand anymore Dookie Returns, or Mewelde fair catches! We need to get some good field position! And we could keep Holmes just for routes(maybe learn the routes)
Any notes? Am I crazy?

Its hard to argue with that
I wasn’t aware of this but I’d be all for it. I’d love to see him returning kicks. But we just signed a CB so don’t get your hopes up.

intriguing!
A pro bowl punt and KO returner. Has been injured last two years, but I couldn’t find out what happened. He would see light work in our secondary, so less chance of injury.
At age 24, I agree he’s worth a year’s contract. Besides, what’s one more on the IR list?
We may have to welch on that new Bryant fellow, now, unless he shows he’s a stud at nickel.

not to be trivial
but dookies gone.
also, anyone see rossum break a 101 yarder last night? Sigh. He was so bad outside of that one game against SF and a few other early season good, but not great returns

Yea, I saw it
Although Rossum didn’t play all that well for us I am thinking it has more to do with our special teams coaching schemes. If we did get Miller, which we wont, but in theory if we did I wouldn’t be surprised to see him struggle too.

it gets better and better..first you bring aboard a LIONS CB and then, maybe, a dude who was replaced by Ty Law- who starts his day by outfitting his walker with new tennis balls : ) ..but seriously, make the Ravens at least earn the division title.

the Landry loss is the big one…C-mac draws mixed emotions in B-more.

well
I always thought “C-mac” was en elite corner, though his play as been declining with his age, understandably. Landry will be tough to replace.
Lucky for you guys though the Steelers are just as beat up, actually, more even. But we should get healthy at some point, you guys losing those two for the year can be a nail in the coffin. Time will tell.
Just to let you know though, I will be attending that Steelers game in Baltimore and my team is undefeated when I am in attendance (they don’t wanna disappoint me I suppose). So look out.

C-mac can be a head case..when he makes a play you just pray he doesn’t draw a 15 yard unsportsmanlike…Landry is a real hard hitter (unfortunatly with his head too) like his brother in DC. I hope we break your streak…AND WHO got you tickets lol ? we can’t have a Pitt. party like in DC!!!!

speaking of aging ravens defenders
i was just curious on your take of Ray ray. Has he lost a step in your view? More bite or bark? Interested to know, also which is your favorite defender?

well raven
i think every team has a set amount of tickets (usually 40%) reserved for Steelers’ fans. I could be wrong of course, but we are everywhere. Sometimes we go to games that we’re not even playing in, or even sports we aren’t playing in (see Beijing Olympics).

Didnt read through all the comments but I believe our terrible return game has a lot to do with the BLOCKING then anything else.
Rossum stunk with us then he has 2 TDs this year I believe?
Also does anyone notice that most blocking units on returns actually use a “setup” when the return man catches the ball.
I mean they catch the ball then there are usually 3 or 4 blockers literally running 1 or 2 feet in front of the returner the whole way till the last second.
Our blockers are usually 15-20 yards in front of our returners. That is why our return game probably sucks so bad. This is probably our “Scheme” so this would fall on the shoulder of the ST coach.
Of course using a 240 pound running back and full back as your top guys doesnt help matters either.
