Laugher Time

This defense will not lose to this quarterback. I just don't see a scenario for the Bengals to win the game. Were this last year, I would fear the special teams play.

Now, I am usually one to temper my enthusiasm, so this feeling of mine is out of character. I guess if I had to come up with a scenario, it would run something like "Ben throws 3 picks and 1 TD and Cincy wins in a defensive struggle". If the Steelers throw (ONLY) early and to acquire a lead, then this should be a nice laugher. We need one of those.

Hold the Phone

This team isn’t going to take anybody for granted. One of the worst teams in the league or not, the Bengals are going to come to play. We all saw last year what happens when we walk into a game against a seemingly harmfull opponent expecting a victory. The Steelers need this win to stay dominant in the AFC north and getting that playoff bye and homefield advantage is something I’m sure is on all their minds also.

And that was a clear sign we weren’t going anywhere in the playoffs. Likewise there’s not much us as fans can do but hope, but if they drop the ball tonight we can kiss our dreams of championships goodbye, even if they manage to make the playoffs.

Good teams don’t lose games like tonight. If the steelers aren’t a good team then they don’t deserve to win tonight, and they didn’t deserve to win against the jets last year.

and these fans should have learned to not look past anybody. Totally agree with you 99. I like the Steelers tonight too but in a laugher? Hope so. I need to get to bed early. I think I heard the Steelers are 5-5 against the Bengals in the last 10?

The Steelers games are like going to the dentist. Once in a while it’s routine teeth cleaning but usually it’s root canal. Go Steelers! 3-2.

I think he has the situation covered. I heard they did a cold frigid outdoor practice too. He realizes they failed to win games they should have last year. And this year, that has yet to happen.

Granted weve lost games we COULD have won and SHOULD have won. But thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Still, we certainly have not failed to show up to a game this year.
