I hope Cowher is just using the Browns as leverage to get an even better deal somewhere else.
It’s always nice to look back and see how nervous you were about a team and then look to the present and see that they are already out of the race for the playoffs.
The best is the lowly, drunk browns fan unwittingly embarrassing his team! I read that he feels sorry and has apologized to the team. Can you imagine if you did something like that Colbert? I’d feel like that Cubs fan who caught the fly ball out of that guy’s glove in the playoffs a few years back

I don’t recall anyone being really concerned about the Browns as contenders this year. The media pundits annointed them the team to beat in the AFC North, but history has shown that the AFC North is ruled by one team, the Steelers! The other teams occassionally get a shot, but they ALWAYS come back to earth the following year when they end up playing a 1st/2nd place schedule and the expectations are high. Go back and look at the AFC North division winners and see how many teams have won it 2 times in a row besides the Stellars.
