Plax Season Shot?

CNN is reporting that Plaxico Burress was accidently shot in the leg at or outside a NYC Nightclub Friday night.

NYG spokespeople had no information as of today and Plax agent Drew Rosenhaus did not immediately return CNN phone calls. If this is true I would think Plax is done for at least the rest of the regular season and possibly the playoffs.

50 wishes Plax a speedy recovery. 50 also continues to marvel at the Steelers FO which consistently makes the right choices on whom to resign and who to let walk. While Plax may have done nothing to warrant this injury his decision to be at said nightclub has put his teammates season in possible peril. Link below;

It's being reported....

that he shot himself in the leg, as per the espn injury list.

I've heard of shooting yourself in the foot....

but this is ridiculous.

Why do these guys walk around with firearms? That is just asking for trouble. I am not against firearms, but pretty much against idiots having them.

Yeah but

But then all the West Virginians would have to give up there firearms. Good luck getting them to do that.

LOL, Plax can't even "shoot himself in the foot" properly...

…Hey Plax, is that a .40 caliber in your pocket or are you just happy to be here?…..

Laff Trax Plax.

Retarded

Some people just dont have intelligence and he is one of them.

And slap me in the face for making him my #1 receiver pick in my fantasy draft. Friggin injured early, suspended and benched multiple times, shot himself.

Just shoot yourself in the face plax and get it over with.

What a jackass Plax has turned into. Obviously he wasn’t ready for the bright lights and the responsibility that comes with it. I know we had Joey “I got shot in the ass” Porter, but to shoot yourself? Uh dude why are taking a gun to the club in the first place? You just got paid millions of dollars which means you are not ghetto buddy stop acting like something you’re not and be a football player!

Plax retains Attorney

should have retained a gun safety specialist or body guard. What a buffoon.

actually i wouldn't wish that on anyone

that’s in pretty poor taste

"If you hit .440 with 20 bombs, you don't have to do s---. You don't have to bring a glove to practice, just hit and leave whenever you want. You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball

I said last night at the bar that it will be the next development in this story. They need to feed us all the details slowly so the story lasts for a few weeks.

Mayor Bloomberg

Made some very strong statements concerning Plex, today. It sounds to me like he is F&*#)ed! — high powered attorney or not.

I hope he gets jail time

I hate when these ignorant “people” get 7 bajillion dollars and then just misuse it and treat football like its nothing.

i’d love to play this game. I dream about it every week. Yet Im stuck working 40 a week to make ends meet.

These people need to learn. I’m tired of most of them just getting off easy (im lookin at you ray lewis). With the exception of Vick (and even he got of easy) nobody ever is punished the way they should be.

Vick

One of these animal rights cuckoos is liable to take Vick out and I’m not so sure the rest of us will cry too hard over it.
