My contribution

Good afternoon to all on a great day to be an American and a Steelers fan.  I'm a heavy reader of the site, albeit a light poster, so I thought I'd contribute a few of the pictures I've accumulated from the past games I've attended.  My dad, brother, and I go to Cincy every year (have been since 2002) so these are from the past two ass-whoopins we gave them, plus some from the NYG game.  Now I'm only an amateur photog with an amateur photog's budget and equipment so pardon the limited zoom capabilities and the resulting repetitiveness in my shots.  And yes, there was definitely a smudge on my lens for this year's Cincy game that I missed....Ya, I'm real good. :)

My personal favorite, as it's my second favorite part of going to Cincinnati...when they turn the escalator around :).....My favorite is the Bengals radio program after the game.  Cincinnati makes better whine than Seattle.

My dad commenting on Chad's dick removal operation name change

Sorry if that was too much.  The only other game I'm going to this year will be Tennessee and I think I'm gonna rent a bigger lens for it and probably write up an actual article/story to go along with the pictures (I used to write part-time for a sports website and I kinda miss it haha)

Nice

Great pictures, looks like you have a pretty nice camera and/or had some great seats as well.

thanks for the comments

and pretty much yes to both…it’s a canon eos rebel and the seats were about the middle of the lower level. Still have to fight around fans in front of me for pictures. The only bad quality of Steelers fans :) Terrible Towels get in the way of my shots. Kidding of course, I would never ask for the towel to be put down, and my two best shots were ruined not by the towel but by people simply standing up at the moment of a big play, squeezing their way into the picture.

nice

People, we need 3 recs here to get this one to stay in the fanposts longer. These are great shots. Need two more after my rec.

first pic

Probably my favorite. Angle is super cool of all those Terrible Towels.

Agreed. At first I thought this was the redskins games and was thinking there were even more fans there than estimated.

That’s awesome. I was at the Cinci game as well. That’s a sweet sign.

I swear man, you must have been sitting right next to me at the Giants game, Row e?

by Mikey on Nov 16, 2008 8:29 PM EST reply actions

not quite sure

I had the ticket and the program for that game that I was going to save as I figured at the beginning it would be a kickass memorable game, but those now belong to the Pittsburgh trash system. If you were that close to me there’s a good chance you saw me, especially if you were to the sides of or behind me as my brother and I were apparently the only assholes that found it necessary to stand up and scream like hell when we are on defense facing the defending Super Bowl champs (the guy tugging on my jersey during the crucial 3rd-down play told me that he had nachos….and therefore could not stand with me…..)
