OH NO Woodley game time decision

This is from the Post Gazette

Outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who didn't practice all week because of a right calf injury, said he will be a game-day decision. Woodley had a big game with five tackles and two sacks against Washington on Monday night. He is second on the team with 9.5 sacks. "I played pretty good (against the Redskins)," he said. "But you've got to be smart about it. Sometimes going out there playing on an injury, you cause more (damage) to it. Instead of missing one game, you miss four or five games down the stretch.'' Lawrence Timmons practiced in Woodley's spot this week and will make his first NFL start if Woodley doesn't play.

That really hurts our pass rush.  Now they will double -up on Harrison.  Maybe we will see some of our late season to playoff type blitzes a little early to keep Manning from picking us apart.  Not sure if the Colts are worthy, but they can wake-up to be a force again, and that means this game is playoff positioning.

What do u think?

At first I was worried but...

when I heard Timmons was gonna take his spot I wasn’t all that worried. Foote will stay at MLB and provide run support while Timmons will be excellent at the pass rush. The only thing that worries me is so far Timmons has yet to show his strength and power on the field and I wonder if the O-line will push him around.
Timmons will certainly be better playing man-to-man coverage against Clark rather than Woodley. So, look on that bright spot.

This is a big problem because of how it will spread out our defense on depth. We need timmons when they run 4 WRs.

yea but loosing Woodley is a ripple effect.

He causes Olines to double team him like hell and it really helps out Harrison and other blitzing LBs. I’m confident Timmons will do a good job but he needs to be up to par. Hopefully the situation will be avoided completely by Woodley playing.

Looks like the Wood is out....

ESPN is reporting he won’t play.
