Goalline stand
Per Steelguy99 I will throw up a play I didn't like. The goalline stand where we ran Moore in the same spot 3 times in a row. The Colts D saw it coming and I think that TD would have solidified the victory..maybe. It was like the Jacobs play where we stuffed them. Couple of plays could have been called. How about a playaction rollout right there, with the TE running short route and maybe Ward or Holmes running the direction in the back of the end zone. It gets Ben out of the pocket and outside the tackles if he has to throw it away. How bout a FB dive? What is wrong with Davis taking the ball a yard and a half? The guy is short and built like a brick sh*t house. What about Russell, someone a little bigger and a little thicker to move the pile?

Yea I was wondering why the hell
we didn’t throw the ball at least once in that situation.

ARIANS SUCKS
It’s bad enough Ben is playing like a sub par QB……….., but we have the fat fuck Arians that is the WORST O coordinator in the league calling our plays. Way to go jagoff. Don’t bother trying ONE play action pass you stinken idiot! They shut down our run ALL DAY LONG and you are going to run it THREE times????
If Tomlin doesn’t get rid of this piece of shit we’re done folks. Oh by the way…….., if Ben doesn’t get his head out of his ass we wont even make the playoffs this season!
Every day brings future to past, every breath leaves me one less to my last. DT

It's obivious to me
that Ben needs to sit for a game or two. He just is not healthy.

I was thinking a FB dive to the left would have been great, but as we know they don’t trust Starks with anything so it was understandable that they didn’t do that, but at least try a down with either Davis or Russell! I think that would have no doubt 90% solidified the victory (Disclaimer: statistic was made up on the spot).

I do have an issue with neither Russel or Davis getting a single carry all game. The goal line stand doesn’t bother me though. Last year I watched us too many times try to get cute at the goal line and end up settling for a field goal.
We should be able to pound the ball in. Moore did it twice before this game. He had blocking into the endzone on third down. It just didn’t work out, but I am never, absolutely never, going to criticize the steelers for two similar runs against the colts D at the goal-line. Our players failed to perform, that sucks, but I will not fault Arians for that one. I’d lay that sucker on Z.

Moore goes all Davenport on us and hits the pile, not the gap.

Moore did not follow his FB
on the play but went up the middle instead. Admittedly, there was a safety in the gap even after Davis made his block, but it wasn’t Sanders, and I’ll take Moore with a head of steam over the safety in that situation.
BTW, the time for play action would have been on first down (after two succesful running plays get it to the 5) or on second down (after another good run to the 1). Play action on third down would have been expected.
Rather than a QB sneak, a naked bootleg would be interesting.
