Steelers/Titans game flexed?
Can anyone confirm whether or not the game this week has been moved to 4PM on CBS?
I was looking at TV Guide on-line for the Philadelphia market and found a listing for the Steelers/Titans game to be televised on CBS at 4PM... This would really workout nice for me this weekend... Has anyone else seen this?

it should be released tomorrow
The games that are ‘flexed’ involve Sunday Night Football. But networks sometimes move games from early to late like you said. I’m pretty sure the game will be moved to 4 pm est, but I believe tomorrow it will be announced formally.
thats a badass diagram btw.

idk
I HEARD that they werent flexing it. Because it was very likely heading for the 8:15 slot. To keep that from happening CBS was going to elect to protect this game. Because of the fact that the 8:15 is broadcast by NBC, CBS could lose a huge AFC matchup game.
So to prevent that I read somewhere CBS was probably going to lock this game into the 1 PM.
Now, its possible this game STILL can get moved to 4:15 since that is also under CBS’ jurisdiction

You are correct
The news of this game being “locked” into 1 pm came out 2 weeks ago. I don’t have the details but while I was in Nashville 2 Sundays ago they announced it.

Yeah
I was still hoping you could have CBS lock it into the 4 PM slot. Cause I do church at 1.

Using the pittsburgh steelers as my religious experience means I never miss church or a game.

I've always said there are two religions in Pittsburgh on Sundays
One in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Sunday mornings 2 month ago were my favorite. Church bells ringing all around and the announcers from the high school football games booming up the hill.
I love pittsburgh.

My dad
Is a presbyterian minister. He has been known to cut his sermons much shorter on days when the steelers play the early games. There have been multiple times when he has waved a terrible towel during the benediction.
I love my father.

I was under the impression that they needed to announce the change two weeks in advance.

for SNF you are correct
They dont have to do so for 1 to 4 pm changes. Flexing happens for the night game, and they announce that earlier, like you said.

NBC
would not drop Giants Panthers. I don’t think any network locked anything this week.

Bensalem – Comcast is still listing the game as showing at 4pm on CBS…
They list “The Holliday Celebration on Ice” showing at 1pm on CBS…
I don’t what the deal is…

Maybe they thought the game was in pittsburgh are just giving it a more festive title?
