Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Any word on Troy?

As per ESPN's NFL injury list, Troy P's condition was updated yesterday from "probable", to "questionable".  Does anyone have any specifics on what's wrong, other than "calf", as espn explains it.  We really need him in that secondary!  I hope he is able to go on Sunday!  Him merely being on the field is intimidation by itself.

(blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah)

not good

history shows for the steelers is if a player doesn’t practice thursday he normally doesn’t play. if he got downgraded from probably to questionable then that scares the shit out of me!! i doubt he plays.

looked at espn

and they said he didn’t practice wednesday either but mike tomlin expects him to play. i pray this is just a precautionary issue. marion barber is looking like he won’t play. demarcus ware will play but with a knee brace on. knee brace or no knee brace, mud or no mud max starks better be prepared and he must play better than he ever has in his life!!!! he (nor anybody) could block ware by themselves so hopefully they will limit the damage ware does sunday. hey bruce!!! try some roll outs towards the right side!!!

Yeah, Roll Outs

Something good almost always happens on designed roll outs with BB. They used to be pretty commonplace before BA became OC. Since, it seems like we run about one every other game. BB is dangerous outside of the pocket so lets design some plays to get him there ,or i fear he will wind up there anyway running for dear life..

Troy

Just precautionary…I also think Hines took a day or 2 off…

hines ward

isn’t hurt though. tomlin has been giving hines days off because of his age and standing on the team.

Its probably a trick

To get the Cowgirls thinking that the game might be easier.

Whats really happening is the mad scientist who created TP is simply upgrading his lower leg unit for maximum performance.

troy update

troy polamalu had full participation today and is now listed as probable according to the injury report on nfl.com

whoo hoo!

troy will make for a huge factor in this game. If conditions permit us to not play deep secondary then I think we all know what polamalu can do to the quick slants and run game

yeah.

Doesn’t he have 3 INTs in last 3 games? I think I see at least 3 more in his future before season’s end.
