this is ridiculous

someone must pay!!!!! there needs to be accountability this week with cuts and staff firings all around.  mike tomlin can't put up with this incompetence.  this squad looks horrible.  everybody (i too) fell into the trap of overrating the defense but big ben's weakness was again on display against a quality opponent on prime time.  this team looks like the pirates of the nfl.  who cares about the ravens game this week or the rest of the year? they are toast and won't do anything the rest of the way.  thank god for hockey season.  the pirates are only right around the corner too to get the taste of the 2008 steelers out of our mouths.

we won

it was ugly, but good teams find ways to win and the steelers did.

so shut up

While I will agree with the idea of fixing things up in the offseason, what’s wrong with enjoying the games in front of you?

Overrating the defense???

Haha. Your funny.
The Cowboys are stacked with offensive talent. To hold them under 300 total yards and force 5 turnovers, I’d say we did pretty damn good.
Your ignorant if you think otherwise.
As for the offense, I agree. We look weak and need some changes to be made or else we will be one and done in the playoffs.

Yup

Beerman, listen, I am all for freaking out. I do it about 10 times a game. But if you aren’t going to enjoy watching a team go 10-3 against good competition, you might want to stop watching football. I would rather win ugly and gutsy – than never be tested at all.

that’s the best response to one of his posts yet.

pull him out of here. It’s like being at a steelers bar and having to listen to that one dude in the back yell “steelers suck.”

beerman, chillax

I think you are overeacting, they eeked a win over a good team. Also every team has a not so attractive game. Think of Ravens when they got gashed by the Giants, Giants losing to the Browns. Cowboys losing to the Rams.

Not every game will be beautiful.

Beerman

I had just thought that you were starting to become a more reasonable person, but I was wrong, way wrong. Stick around if you want, but whatever you say is gonna be tossed out the window. Too bad for you man.

To the tune of the classic children's song "This Old Man" (the part with nick nack patty whack)

Defense

Dude, Tony Homo had the highest passer rating in the league. His passer rating today was a miserable, MISERABLE 44.9

I’m laughing hardily.

not sure fair weather works

The weathers pretty darn fair – like at least 85 degrees, maybe a bit too much humidity but whatever, still nice. And beerman’s not a fan in this weather apparently. So not sure what a better term might be.

Actually, the weather wasn’t so nice at the time of his post.
