Eating Crow
I talked some major trash before the game, and to a certain extent it was backed up. Romo, however, didn't back me up. I wish I could say it was the cold, but the kid is from Wisconsin. Your defense put the heat on, and Romo started forcing things to his crutches (Witten and T.O.). So kudos to you.
I feel there was a lot of missed opportunities out there for Romo, and hopefully we'll get to play another game against you guys this season to rectify those mistakes. Anyhow, Congrats on the victory. You guys outlasted us.
P.S. Heath Miller is still not as good as Witten.

witten vs miller
Maybe heath isnt as good, but it’s a lot closer than you’re probably realizing. Witten’s numbers are only better because of the system and play calling. Witten’s fantastic for sure, so if Heath were somehow officially deemed worse than him, that’d not be a huge knock. But the margin is small. Both are really really good.

well said quincyyyy
If the Cowboys play Defense like that for the rest of the year, they will make the playoffs, despite Romo. Your back up RB played a tough game. They will not win on the Road in NY, Ari, TB, etc.. I’ll concede the Witten v Miller comparison, but while we’re making comparisons, I’ll take Ben (champion) over Romo (excuse maker ) every time.

How Many Times Did Witten Tap-Out?
Miller is just harder than Witten, which I will take any day!

Very gracious
Animosity was spread on both sides, but your ‘Boys played a hell of a game. You overcame a shitload of adversity in the first half to storm the field in the 3rd quarter, but we did what we’re good at: we played all 60 minutes and walked out with a win on the backs of our outstanding defense.
I may take back what I said on Blogging the Boys.
Maybe.

LMAO
I was at a bar with a bunch of Cryboy fans that were pretty obnoxious. Unfortunately, I had to get home before 7 so I couldn’t stay for the game winner. UGH!!!
Anyways, they were debating Tony’s fumble and calling for replays, etc. I was telling them, it doesn’t matter if he fumbled or not, what matters is he is getting hit and getting pressue.

Credit
I’ll give you credit for posting here after that game. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere near a Cowboys or Steelers site for a few days if we had lost. On the other hand, I didn’t talk any smack on the Cowboys’ site.

Now serving ...
Always nice to see someone man up and eat crow; not so nice to follow up it with a “but I’d rather be eating possum.”
I won’t even attempt to enter the Witten v. Miller argument without taking time to execute some “level-headed thinking.” However, going into the game my thought processes told me that we must keep an eye on Witten because he can beat us by himself [never dreamed that he would gift us the game] ; he is a key component to the Cowboys success. I don’t think other teams need to think that way about Miller. That said, I wouldn’t trade miller for Witten.
Ironic how the Steelers get another critical victory because a Cowboys tight end has a faux pas.

Impossible to pigeon hole a fanbase like the Cowboys as either dumpy or great. Too many folks spread far and wide – there have been some cool dudes come by all week. Was pleasantly surprised.
Then again, I’ve also been surprised by a few cool Ravens fan. And I coulda sworn to the Highest Power that there was nothing reedeming about the BMore Ravens or the fans or the city (except for The Wire) until a few guys in particular started commenting around here a bit more this psat month (yall know who u are, stay!).
We are a better football team than the Baltimore Ravens. I really hope we show that this coming Sunday. If we don’t I wont be dismayed or anything. I wont think less of our chances to get back to a SB necessarily, but a win on the road against a Ravens team that thinks VERY highly of itself right now. Thatd be nice and a very impressive feather in our cap. It’s time to see what Flacco can do against a hated rival with massive table stakes.

Kudos Q
Didn’t think we would ever hear from you again and we would have to go trolling the SB Nation looking for you. I give you credit for coming in and taking your medicine.
Contrary to some opinions expressed above, Witten is a man. He may have tapped out a couple times but as you stated he played with a broken rib and took shots from the ferocious Steelers D. He also kept coming back for more unlike Welker. As previously stated I voted him for Pro Bowl so I am not too surprised. While I was hating on Miller after the fumble, his TD catch was great as he gave your safety a ride into the EZ. Hope you realize he may not be Witten but he is definitely not a 3rd string TE. Also glad (per our communications on the game day thread) you realize what a buffoon our OC is and that might have something to do with Heath’s lack of receptions. Though no Witten, Heath is a quality TE that fits the Steelers system.
Your boys played a heroic game until the 4th quarter and your D is playoff caliber. Would love to see a rematch in Tampa with you guys so get your sh*t together and give us another game in this epic rivalry. Peace Q and thanks for shopping at BTSC.

Thanks
Miller is one of the better TE’s in the league, but Witten is still the best.
Anyhow, I hope we do see you in the SB (if the Cowboys can make it through this tough stretch of games). There were definitely missed opportunities out there for Romo, and I think he would do better if he could get another stab at your D. Peace.

I'll agree with you.
Witten is one of the best if not the best TE in that game. Heath is good but needs to be involved in the offense more. Only other person who I can think of who may be better then Witten is Dallas Clark.

The Cowboys now are at quite a disadvantage because the remaining sched is pretty much like trying to escape Guantanamo.

i really don’t wanna make any predictions, but i would just rather have Dallas miss the playoffs again so that we can says its like the 13th year or 14th year since they won a playoff game. LOL can we get it to 15 or 20??

I'll give you credit for showing up, quincyyyy
And neither TE played very well in this one. Witten screwed up on the pick and on the 4th down, didn’t block very well, just about fumbled, but he did get a few nice catches and runs. Miller didn’t contribute much, did fumble, sucked ass at blocking, but scored the tying TD.
I think I’ll stick with Antonio Gates.

yeah
neither are the best but Witten is like the same as Heath, just in different systems. I actually prefer Miller and will says he is better solely because IT’S MILLER TIME!
but they are probably equal but after that game how can you say witten is better, you guys claim he lost the game for you and miller essentially won/tied it for us. Witten is good though but like said above, looks better because of the system (O-line too because miller has to block alot because of our crappy line) but Gates is better than both of them so it doesn’t even matter. But then again the Steelers have beaten both of those teams so you can have a better TE, i will take the better team all day all night all the time every time.
