How much $$ to be in Steelers War Room?

I was sitting here thinking about how much we all enjoy the draft, debating mock drafts, and putting forth opinions on who we should select, and I thought of an interesting question...

How much would you pay to be in Steelers War Room on draft day 2008?...I mean right there seated next to Tomlin, Colbert and the gang...listening to everything...possible trades, debates over prospects...right there... and also, you get to give your opinion/thoughts on who YOU think the pick should be in each round...

So how much?  Come up with a number that you really would be willing to pay...

of course, the day comes complete with copious autographs & pics of you cavorting with all front office and coaching staff, behind the scene tour of Steeler facilities (not sure if "war room" is at Heinz or practice facility...but where ever it is you see it up close) and of course a nice dinner Sunday night to celebrate all our picks with all coaches/staff.

$500 for me, may be more...I think the stories you'd have to tell would be worth that...Of course, I'd have to convince my wife...but after what we paid for SB 40 tickets, $500 seems dirt cheap!

How much guys...the war room awaits...

Well
Given that there's 2 weeks left of school, my monetary supply has dwindled greatly.  That being said, I'd give it all to see...

So my bid stands at $1.34, lol!

Good thinkin..
Pay a couple grand, make sure you do very well and impress them and maybe they would hire you.

But what if you have a horrible draft and none of your guys are in the league after 3 years? Fired :)

they would
have to pay me for me to let them to use my incredible NFL knowledge and insight.

A couple grand
I would pay a couple grand, but know after I open my big mouth with my opinions they would throw me out. So I will give Blitz my money to help make sure he gets in, but you have to wear a wire so I can hears whats happening. :)

They'd have to pay me
to keep my mouth shut about what goes on in the war room.

That's what I thought
I'd want to talk about it on here. :)

Need two tickets
Yeah, I'd have a hard time not having someone there with me, more than likely my bro but could auction it off to you folks. :)

I think I'd pay upwards of a grand for the opportunity.  But like some other folks, that cash would not be available this year, so I'm gonna have to hope for this to be an option after the cash flow gets better.

I would honestly rather
Meet in Pittsburgh with many of you folks, rent a hotel suite with fairly large TV, have a couple computer hookups in the room and order in some pizza and beer.  I'd enjoy that more.

The voice of reason reigns supreme again.

Next year, let's make that happen. That's a fantastic idea quite frankly. I have some big plans in store for this coming season for us, so perhaps a group might be interested.

Blitz
what big plans were you thinking...

oh
just better and more comprehensive statistical analysis plus im getting a video input card and some software to edit some video tape of the games so that we can get a better idea of how our line is playing. Things like that. Bigger and better interviews, perhaps a podcast once or twice a month. We're just getting rolling along here. I'm learning as I go since this is just a hobby for me that I cram into my work and social life. As I learn what works, what doesnt, what options there are for me to provide good informative and entertaining content, I'm able to do things more efficiently and quickly.

I dunno, but I would say the main thing we should have (provded we get legal clearing from the NFL) is some cool video and still shot footage of the games (it's just too damn hard to see all the innerworkings of a play in real time).

Sweet
That sounds fantastic Blitz.  We'll have our very own NFL Matchup Show every week dedicated to the the Black and Gold.

Now if you could somehow get access to coaches tapes that'd be fantastic.  Maybe we should just put someone behind the bench with a videocamera for every game.
