Curtain Members, Please Read
One of the great things about the new site is that we can cross-reference related material together through the tagging system.
When you write a new FanPost or add a FanShot to the site, you'll see in the right side of your window a series of tagging options.
1) TAGS. You'll see a blank box labeled 'TAGS' - this is the intra-site tagging system, which you can add yourself, with each new tag separated by a comma. So, for this post, I'm adding: Curtain 2.0, how to tag stories
2) TEAMS. This is the network-wide tagging system. The default option will be "National Football League" Underneath that menu will be a box for you to type the team your post is related to. Just start typing the team name of whichever team you're writing about. You can add more than one team.
3) PLAYERS. This is also network-wide. If you're writing about Hines Ward, for example, you'd start typing his name and then click on Hines Ward (WR - PIT). If you're writing about a college player, you'd change the drop-down menu to "NCAA Division 1A Football" and start typing the player's name.
If we all do proper tagging, we'll have ourself a huge database of cross-referenced material.
