Cool
I could see how those exercises would reduce the impact injuries that could plague a player during the offseason. Hope they keep Troy healthy this year.

Polamalu martches to the beat of his own drummer..
...and his own fitness guru. But hey, Troy is from California, should we expect anything different?
I Like It
This is what Troy did in the past and he never ran into any issues. I think that if this is how he wants to do it and he believes it will allow him to compete at a very high level than I am all for it.

nice video
I was all for this when i read about this, and after hearing Troy talk about it, i like it even more. Gotta love him, soft, but well-spoken, kids got smarts, and is an animal on the field. Hope this leads to a healthy season for him.
I also thought bouncing was bad...
weren’t we always taught never to bounce during exercises like this? Isn’t it bad for the ligaments and joints? Not saying its bad for Troy to do this, but just thinking about my old gym class and trainers and whatnot during lifting. But, Troy is a physical specimen, I am not, lol. GO STEELERS>
don't bounce
during stretching…..but that is also a bit overblown. anytime you are doing an “explosive movement” like jumping or sprinting, you are bouncing in a way. this training focuses on practicing those movements which you use most. thats why hes doing all the jumping and stuff. alot of this stuff works on balance and explosion. notice he does most the exercises on his toes as well, this overloads the calfs, helps make you more explosive. it is bad for ligaments in the long run…..but won’t affect him or any of these guys until there playing days are over anyways, and all the players have those problems regardless of what workouts they do. has to do with running all the time with extra weight on your back.
