ben, just a normal guy
Just on a whim, I went here and saw this article (and I just read for the articles!)

Good work, though I don't think many people are rubbing shoulders with steel workers or coal miners in bars much anymore around here anymore, but if it adds to the mystique, why not? Good article portraying him as sort of the anit-Brady and anti-Manning. Can't wait to see him for a good half tomorrow.

Thanks Nerves
enjoyed the article. Knew Ben was a winner on day 1.

perfect fit
for the steel city. this guy can take a hit (all too often huge hits) and just keeps coming back. he bleeds week in and week out for his teammates, coaches, and fans. when he wins, the credit goes to his o-line, wideouts, rbs, defense…and when he loses, he bears the burden on his own shoulders. as steelers fans, we are very lucky to have a leader like ben (can you imagine having a guy like rex grossman leading this team?) taking center every week. and, at 26 years old, he is becoming a truly great and unique qb. lets just hope he stays humble and healthy…if he does, we’ll be playing plenty of games in january over the next 7 years.

Wow, think about how lucky we were.
Third QB taken in that draft.
11th overall.
Behind Rivers and Manning.
Imagine if Ben gets picked before one of them…
They are both respectable QB’s of course, but I highly doubt we would be where we are today without Ben running the show.

I agree
we are so fortunate…even when he throws a pick or has a bad game I know he’ll ultimately “deliver the goods”.
