I cant stop beatin this dead horse enough!! Lecharles Bently is still out there waiting for the Steelers call!!We could use a probowl caliber player.Granted the vikes do have one of the better d-lines i the league but we do have one helluva schedule we're lookin at!!I know those out there will say "no he's too much of a risk" but with high risk comes high reward, and we dont have to offer him too much, just load some incentives in.Seems like a no brainer to mee!!

"We could use a probowl caliber player"

I think we all would agree with this. Its just that it appears that the Steelers (as well as other teams) are not viewing Bently as a pro-bowl caliber player anymore. It could be his injury history or just his lack of playing the last 2 years, but it is likely he is not the caliber player he once was at this point in his career.

good point.

We don’t have the worst need for a G/C out of all 32 teams in the league. Nor do we have the worst G/C’s out of all 32 teams in the league. There is a reason 32 teams have passed on this guy to this point.

I know the world isn't fair or poetic

but the Steelers owe that team a solid beat down, and then another one in the playoffs. Whenever I talk to a pats fan (something I try to avoid) all I can say these days is “wait, you’ll get yours.”

I’d rather point and laugh in their faces. Hopefully our revamped linebacker corp can help with my wish.

If Bentley was a former monster tackle he would probably have a shot. However, the interior of the line is the most solid part (even if Simmons play is spotty at best), and what we really need is a force at RT or someone to push Smith at LT.

so much for that $7 million investment in Starks
