OCHO CINCO

Has anyone heard the rumor that Chad Johnson has officially filed the paper work to have his name officially to be Chad Ocho Cinco? I am sorry I hate the bengals and everything about that team, but this guy cracks me up. I would really love to know if this story is true. I actually would embrass him as a Steeler. I know some people will hate to read that and no I am not Benedict Arnold, but seriously he is funny he plays hard and the only thing he does to hurt his team is the stupid celebrations that cost him 15 yards after a TD. I wander, would you like Ocho Cinco if he wore black & gold. Personally I would run out and buy an 85 jersey the minute he signed and it would say Ocho Cinco on the back not Washington. Comments??

I saw it. I love it.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Chad. He doesn’t come across with the spoiled attitude you can often get with elite receivers. He’s funny and goofy, in more of a Clinton Portis way, and not the abrasive look-at-me of a TO. I think if a bunch of players start changing their names to add some flair to their jersey, the Rog might get mad and take their toys away, but I don’t see what he can do to Chad O. Cinco if he did indeed legally change his name.

I would love him as a Steeler, but I’m not sure he would fit in on the team, to be honest. His personality doesn’t really fit the city, and I don’t think there’s room in the lockerroom for both Chad and Ben’s egos.

agree

that he is funny, but he is just as Me-first as T.O., if not more. He is just funnier and more personable so you overlook it.

No, I don’t believe that, and I don’t think you could back it up. He’s not a sideline whiner if he’s not getting balls thrown his way, nor is he a problem on or off the field, nor in the locker room. I think he’s a gamer and a pro, but one that wants the spotlight. The difference between him and the WR prima donnas we see other places is that they will bitch and moan if they’re not getting looks, and 85 only wants the spotlight on him when he gets the ball.

I think Chad is funny, and I think this is by far the funniest and most orignal thing he has ever done. (If in fact the rumor is true). With that being said i also have no desire to ever see him in black and gold, I think Ocho Cinco is funny as a Bengal, kinda like the Bengals are funny because they are so pathetic.

true.

No way he would ever work as a steeler. I can’t say as I have ever heard him whine, the closest I think he came was when he said something like ‘I did what I could with what they gave me’ or something like that. Not too bad, but if you put him on a team like ours, where he wouldn’t be getting as many looks, then he would blow up. Literaly. He would explode. I’m fine with our recievers and him not being one of them. Frankmineo said it best above, although I don’t think I agree Nate is better :). The Hall jacket was funny though.
