Week 4 Open Thread
As of right now, I once again have NFL Sunday Ticket. After some ridiculous back and forth about whether to get TV at all, I caved in. And of course, if I were to get TV, it would be for Sunday Ticket. Count it.
So join me throughout the day for some non-Steelers NFL action. There's plenty of good games in both conferences, including Green Bay at Tampa Bay, Minnesota at Tennessee, Cleveland at Cincinnati, Washington at Dallas, and Philly at Chicago to cap the evening.

Superfan!
Love the Sunday Ticket, but love, even more, the Super Fan package. With this, while I’m over here in Germany, I can catch every game on the laptop. We run a dvi from the computer to the big screen and since I seem to be the only person in the country to have access to LIVE NFL, there’s football parties every Sunday!!

Got my SuperFan package as well.
I hope the party’s right in Germany this weekend :)

Ticket=Heaven
That’s pretty sick, good to know we have a fanbase in Germany.
To the tune of the classic children's song "This Old Man" (the part with nick nack patty whack)
Big Snack, Silverback, take the Dawg Pound's Bone, the Black and Gold sent the Brownies crying home.

everywhere
Steelers fans are absolutely everywhere. I’ve yet to see someone log on from Antarctica, but every other continent for sure.

Palmer
Anyone know if Carson Palmer’s playing?

Local Press
Says Palmer will start.

well
ESPN just report Palmer is the number 3 QB. Show how great my local press is. :)

CBS reports:
Palmer will not start. Columbus press reports: Little old lady has 30 cats, and loves them all equally.

btw guys
Trent Green’s starting today. Best wishes to him. Let’s hope he stays healthy. I wrote this article this summer when I heard he was coming back after all those concussions. Fingers crossed.

damn
Forgot to switch out Palmer in time. That sucks. Surely I’ll lose this week for the first time, though, gotta say my opponent (WolfPackSteelersFans) has a team thats terrible.

wow
Chiefs look to take big early lead over Denver. 3-0 and deep inside red zone again.

watching the niners-saints
j.t. o’superbowl, as people are calling him here, is still doing pretty decently for the niners. good to see it, because it gets old reading about two terrible football teams every morning in the paper.
"If you hit .440 with 20 bombs, you don't have to do s---. You don't have to bring a glove to practice, just hit and leave whenever you want. You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball

spoke too soon
21-6 saints just before half…o’sullivan is struggling vs. the blitz, martz is calling slow-developing plays and he is getting hurried/sacked

I hope you are being sarcastic. He isn’t even top ten QB IMO.

Uuuuh....zeke...
Maybe you should check the current QB rankings in the NFL.
Top of the list……. Brett Lorenzo Favre.
The other guys are either seriously injured (Brady), over the hill (P. Manning), mediocre (E. Manning), a shadow of their former self (Palmer), prematurely old and broken down (Roethlisberger), in jail (Vick), unproven (Romo, Cutler), flash in the pan (Anderson) etc., etc.
Then you could take a look at who is top of the ALL TIME LIST in every significant measurement of QB success. It’s not one of those dead, drunk, or hopelessly out of touch guys pontificating to the media every chance they get, but the same guy who is leading the league in QB rating and touchdown passes as we speak.

Goodness
Hey Blitzburgh no offense, but don’t you have better things to do than blog about your television amenities.
Geez!

?
I have no idea what that means at all. Do I have better things to do than write a website for Steelers fans? Yeah, sure, but I do this for fun, so if you want to criticize what someone does with their free time, more power to ya, I guess. There’s plenty of people who spend their life critiquing so I guess you have company!
I think a more appropriate question might be don’t YOU have better things to do than to read someone else’s work and make non-sensical comments.
