2008 NFL Predictions
I went over to Dawgs by Nature (cleveland's blog) to see how their fans reacted to their week one loss, and I came across this post over there. I thought it would be good to do over here to see our fans predictions as opposed to theirs. We got the advantage of seeing week one pretty much come to a close and with all the injuries (Brady) and upsets we should have a little better idea of how this season MAY play out. By the way if anyone was curious most of their fans choose the steelers to win the north, and only one had the fucking steelers winning the north. lol Wtih a tiny bit of bias here is my predictions:
AFC North: Pittsburgh 10-6 Cleveland 7-9 Baltimore 6-10 Cincy 5-11
AFC East: Buffalo 10-6 NY Jets 9-7 New England 8-8 Miami 5-11
AFC South: Jacksonville 10-6 Indy 10-6 Tennessee 6-10 Houston 4-12
AFC West San Diego: 11-5 Denver 9-7 Oakland 6-10 Kansas City 2-14
NFC North Chicago 12-4 Green Bay 11-5 Minny 8-8 Detroit 3-13
NFC East Philly 12-4 Dallas 11-5 NY Gmen 9-7 Washington 4-12
NFC South Atlanta 10-6 New Orleans 10-6 Carolina 8-8 Tampa 5-11
NFC West Arizona 9-7 Seattle 9-7 St. Louis 5-11 San Fran 3-12
Pitt and San Digo in the AFC Champ. Game winner Pitt. Chicago and Dallas in the NFC Champ. Game. Super Bowl champs ? I don't want to predict it.
comments? I know it is very hard to predict records and since "experts" are never usually close in my opinion i will take all comments with a grain of salt. Add your own predictions in the comments as well.

AFC North Only
I will only venture a guess at the AFC North. I could see us winning 9 games based on who we were playing (Texans, Browns, Bungles, etc.). However, with Brady going down, I would say the best team in the AFC East now is the Bills. Funny how that works, the Browns get the Bills and we get the Pats based on last year’s record.
Steelers 10-6 and first round bye week
Baltimore suprise suprise 8-8
Brownies 6-10, reality strikes, and so does playing a 2nd place schedule
Bungles 3-13, the inmates finally take over. Bye bye Marvin Lewis. BTW, check out some of what the bungles had to say about Willie Anderson. Basically that he is a traitor and gave away their offensive secrets to the Ravens. WOW, dissing one of the classiest players on their team, and it was the bungles that cut him. That team is a mess. They are more worried about Ocho Cinco’s jersey then winning a game.
Bungles
I heard some pundit on ESPN blasting the Bengals for cutting ‘class’ players like Anderson and Rudi and it just shows how screwed up that frachise really is.
Cinci
They’re a mess. Their defense looked bad against the Ravens. With an unpolished rookie QB in his first start. Not good. Even worse is Palmer. He’s done. He’s giving up. He doesn’t care. But he’s still way better than Ben, though.
charity standing orders
Palmer is a fantasy QB
Super Bowl rings:
Big Ben – 1
Carson Palmer – 0
nuff said.
you mean he went to a way better school
carson is not even close to having the talent ben has. i would take ben over ANY qb in the nfl brady, manning and palmer are all drop back dinosaurs that are going to sit in the pocket and get hammered. none of them can create when a play breaks down BIG BEN HOF 20??

Speaking of Ocho's jersey...
Why did he wear C. Johnson on his jersey this week?

the NFL has recognized it as an official name change, but it’s something to do with contracts and administrative nit-pickedness. They have a pretty decent stockpile of 85 Johnson jerseys laying around and they don’t want to see them all go to waste. Here’s the story.

He's not a better competitor
He’s not a better winner, inc SB. Ben was 2nd to only Brady in QB rating last year, and has the highest YPA in the league. Give Ben time in the pocket and he WILL pick you apart. Give him some quality weapons and, well, you’ll see this year.
