Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Brandon Jacobs

did anyone hear his interview last night after they lost.  He kinda mumbled, but i think he was saying that the Giants were the only team left that could have beat Philly. He went on to say that he was on the Philly bandwagon and that they were going to win it all. I on the other hand think that there are still 3 teams that can beat the Eagles.  McNabb is about due for another bad game anyway.

Isn’t this about normal Eagles play? Get to the NFC championship and lose due to terrible play to McNabb and horrible play calling by Ried.

Apparently

all of of his brains and th ability to think logically got pounded out of him on those short yardage stuffs by the Eagles D.

Don’t tell me anyone is confident about a potential Arians-Johnson matchup.

Im not.

That was easily the biggest beatdown we have suffered since the ’06 Ravens game.

true

but we were still just 1 big play from a win

One big play?

BB (and then Leftwich) had no time to do anything but go down. I’ve never seen so much confusion on our O-line, ever. Someone was coming clean on almost every play.

Not Confident

but sure that we won’t get emabarassed that way again. It’s a pride thing for our O-line, and for Ben as well. And it’s not like the Iggles O marched up and down the field on us with impunity. I just want to beat the ravens, THEN worry about whomever is up next.

Jacobs

He was playing like he was preserving himself for the NFC Championship…which he will be watching on TV probably. I bet if you asked him who could beat Carolina a few weeks ago, he would say the same thing. No one thought the Cardinals would get past Atlanta.

He’ll be fresh for it, at least.
