PrintI haven't seen anything mentioned, and I wasn't on the game day threads so I'm not sure if it was mentioned there. but MM did an amazing job in picking up blitzes. I know that he missed the block on the one sack, but I have been watching the highlights of the game, as I am sure all of you have been doing. It seems like every highlight they show of Big Ben completing a pass, MM was picking up the blitzer. Just a great, important, and under appreciated aspect of the Steeler win.

stepped up in 2nd half.
if you read my 1st half post, you’ll maybe notice that I had a segment about Mewelde picking up blitzes. Have a frame by frame post coming though on what you’re talking about. He stepped it up and it was big.

MeMo does so many things....

He’s an ideal third down back, and a solid return man.
His cool demeanor and steady hands mean we don’t break into a sweat any more when the other team is punting deep into Steeler territory.
Tomlin wanted him. And now we see why.
