Around SBN: Missouri Crashes The Top Line After Kansas Win

Props to Mewelde Moore

I haven't seen anything mentioned, and I wasn't on the game day threads so I'm not sure if it was mentioned there. but MM did an amazing job in picking up blitzes. I know that he missed the block on the one sack, but I have been watching the highlights of the game, as I am sure all of you have been doing. It seems like every highlight they show of Big Ben completing a pass, MM was picking up the blitzer. Just a great, important, and under appreciated aspect of the Steeler win.

I want mewelde to retire as a steeler as long as he’s okay getting paid what he is getting. He’s not glitzy, but he is a solid, reliable player.

stepped up in 2nd half.

if you read my 1st half post, you’ll maybe notice that I had a segment about Mewelde picking up blitzes. Have a frame by frame post coming though on what you’re talking about. He stepped it up and it was big.

Indeed

I had not read that post of yours, blitz, before I posted this. An astute analysis on your part as always.

He has ...

done very well for the team. Yesterday, he topped that level of performance. Great observation.

True true

I didn’t give him a line in my driveby in respect to how well you gave him props.

I meant to say "out of respect" instead of "in respect"

MeMo does so many things....

…and does them all well.

He’s an ideal third down back, and a solid return man.

His cool demeanor and steady hands mean we don’t break into a sweat any more when the other team is punting deep into Steeler territory.

Tomlin wanted him. And now we see why.

Best FA Signing

since Farrior in 2004. Kudos to the FO and to all those that touted him in preseason.
