polamalu for president
here is a conversation which took place last night between my wife and my 4 year old son. it is a conversation which not only demonstrates my shortcomings as a parent, but also how my unhealthy obsession with the steelers is being passed to my son, whether he likes it or not. it went like this:
wife: do you know who will be our new president tomorrow?
son: i don't know.
wife: sure you do. we're getting a new president tomorrow - do you remember his name?
son: polamalu?

Good one! He’d do a better job than that bozo going in today!

True
Why would we want a brilliant, well spoken, and deeply moral man in the office? We should go back to the last 8 years of incompetence and illegality

Golden Rule, People.
No Politics. No Religion. There is plenty to disagree about with just Football.

I could see that mistake.
Both names have that consonant vowel consonant vowel pattern to them.
It wouldn’t be unheard of, though.. Gerald Ford was a a star two-way player for the University of Michigan. Other professional players that have gone on to become politicians include Jack Kemp, Steve Largent, and J.C. Watts.

LOL
I had this “strange” feeling I was forgetting someone. TY. I’m sure there are others as well. The point is, though, that as soon as Troy becomes 35 he will be an elligible candidate just like any other person born in this great country where ALL things are possible.

Seriously, do you have to be so cynical all the time?
Do you really have to make a snide comment every time someone expresses an opinion differing from your own on this site?

Every time?
Come on, that’s an exaggeration. I’ve actually cut way back on the snide comments.

true true...
sorry to jump down your throat, I just really like to be able to come here and talk football without debating things that have nothing to do with the game…

It's all good
And I really have made a conscious effort to cut back on the snide comments. I realized I was doing it way too often. I really like this site. There are many people on here that have great insight, and also great writing abilities. Unfortunately there are a few that say things that make it difficult for me not to respond sarcastically.
In this particular instance, however, I was just trying to be funny.

Yeah, except
that position is already filled by one David “Deacon” Jones. He was the Secretary of Defense. Reggie white was the Minister of Defense.
