How can you hate the Steelers?
There's a great article on the FoxSports website detailing how hard it is to hate the Steelers, given all the great aspects of the franchise. Citing it as one of the very top brand names in all of sports, the author goes on to name several celebrities that are long-time fans. Perhaps most die-hard supporters already knew most of what's in the article, but I found myself getting a warm, tingly feeling inside reading it nonetheless. You can find it at:

Rock and Roll and Steelers
My friend was at an Alice in Chains show in Bethlehem PA when the Eagles had training camp. I think this was 2006. Jerry comes out with an Eagles cap on, then tosses it and puts on a Steelers cap, to the chagrin of most of the crowd.
Bret Michaels is a Steelers fan too. Poison has its roots in Harrisburg.
Snoop is definitely down with the Black and Gold.
I’m kind of bummed that limbaugh is a Steelers fan, but whatever.

Browns fans hate us with passion
Their web sites constantly refer to us, constantly include insults and jabs. It’s unbelievable how much energy they spend against us. Usually the week of any game you might see some back and forth sniping to some extent, but alot of Browns fans (not all, of course) are derogatory against the Steelers 12 months a year. Just my own empiracle observation, but there is more negativity from Browns fans toward Pittsburgh than any other fans toward any other team.
Thoughtful discussion with a sense of history

Most Browns fans
are not level headed thinkers. Trust me on this, I live in NE Ohio. Even their radio personalities are full of innane comments about the city of Pittsburgh and the Steelers in general. Several folks that I work with"just don’t see how the Steelers can win" because the Cards are hot right now, Fitzgerald is too good, the sun rises in the East, etc etc etc. It’s nauseating. A Steeler victory is the perfect way to hush their large mouths…at least until draft day, when hope again outweighs common sense and good football knowledge and the desperate (albeit loyal) fans declare that THIS is their year. Again.
