Listened to a Bill Simmons podcast, and a guest brought up an interesting piece of trivia, one which he referred to as the Steelers giving the ultimate middle finger to the NFC West.
A Steelers win on Sunday gives them 6 super bowls, passing San Francisco with the most in history, and they would do that by beating, in succession, the other three teams in the NFC West, Arizona, Seattle, and the Rams, at the time in LA.

I Heard that
It was Aaron Schatz of football outsiders fame.
And the other team they would surpass
Dallas also with five, the Steelers beat their two previous Super bowls prior to the win over the Rams. Let’s make it happen
