AUGH!!! I missed the Game!!

Tivo screwed me. Completely missed the game.

Star-divide

So I saw Wallace's TD on NFL.com, and am about to watch Ben's highlights, but damn, that's the first full game I've missed in 3 years. So pissed. So I'm looking for analysis from you guys. Looking at the stats, Harrison, Woodley, Willie Gay, Ryan Clark, Tyrone Carter, and Lawrence Timmons  looked like they had huge days on Defense. Ben looks like he killed, and Mendenhall came through. I had a feeling Mike Wallace  would have a good day btw, this guys is a stud. Also looks like Logan just missed a return TD too. If I'm missing anything, like how the line did, who had the biggest mistakes, etc., please let me know. Man I'm pissed right now.

We’re the worst team in the NFL in the 4th quarter. For once, on the oppositions last possession, we stacked the box and got 3 sacks in a row. That made me happy ;)

Bring a towel to the game. Black or gold or yellow. If you don't have one buy one, If you can't buy one, dye one!!!

The offense was looking good, I was wondering why we weren’t running more early when Mendy was going off, but we kept throwing it.

Miller was the bomb, Ward was Ward again, Ben is the greatest QB Ever and Detroit can’t do squat against us (esp,. with CJohnson out, re-aggravates groin).

Then the second half. Culpepper finds a rythm. Ben misses on some key passes, all of a sudden TOP is scewing heavily for Detroit and they are driving all over a tired Defense. a few good plays and penalties on Detroit keep Detroit from coming back as the offense continues to do jack squat in the 4th.

Then the last drive. Beautiful Ravens esque overload blitz with Clark Gay and Woodley coming off the Right side of the line, they pick up the DB’s and Woodley gets his second sack (YEAH!), second down same blitz they get Woodley, Clark blows up a blocker and Gay trips Culpepper. Third Down Blitz, They start to pick it up but the whole line is flying back towards Culpepper and Timmons just plows straight into him while he tries to figure out which way to go. (there wasn’t anywhere).

3 sacks in three downs. They go for it on 4th and Ike jumps 87 feet in the air to be the Steeler who gets to bat the ball down (three of them fighting for the right, no Lion had a prayer) and Ben knees the game into the Win column.

This 4th quarter trouble rests on the offense, who dominated early but came up shooting blanks in the last 1/3 of the game. Mendenhall had holes early adn often, but late in the game there was nowhere to go.

Ike might have actually tried to catch the ball on the last play

but being Ike he dropped it

Yea unfortunately that was the first post game recaps I saw.

But I didn’t have to see the game to know they were wrong.

BTSC Obituaries

OldManSteeler, ominously died two days before Superbowl 123 where the Ravens are set to attempt their 7th superbowl win, facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He was 86. His last words are believed to be "MALOR CAN SUCK IT!!!". Like friends and family, we can only guess what this could mean.

Well it was closer then it should have been...

But we still got the W. Another good all around performence, capped by some sleepy D at the end. It seems the team gets better between games, only to slowly get worse during them, defensively at least.

Mike Wallace dropped a sure fire TD pass, so if he drops one more I’m going to call him a bust. If for nothing else, the hilarious reactions.

without the pick six and mike wallece having his first drop of the season its a 35-13 game

but bubbybrister6 billy 52 would still be mad that we didn’t drop 80 on them
