Steelers 24: Vikings: 21

This is Pittsburgh Steeler Troy Polamalu getting knocked around by the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii yesterday...
Minutes later, Troy caught the ocean going over the middle and smacked it right in the mouth. The ocean fumbled, Troy recovered and ran it into the endzone. The ocean never messed with Troy again.

No way I am picking till we get news on Winfield.

He could make it a lot closer game.

Vikings 27 Steelers 24

The Vikings match up with us on both sides of the ball very well. However the Vikings don’t have the killer instinct, which is why this game will be very close. I think the Steelers will have a good chance to win at the end, but will fall just short. The Vikings in a squeaker.

"Polamalu’s lineage can be traced through several roots. Chuck Norris mated with an Amazon Queen, and on the other side, Tony Hawk mated with Mother Nature. The two children of these spawned and fused in a tantric love session to create Troy Polamalu. The mother however died as he tore through the birth canal with a spin move."

Steelers 23, Favres 19

I think the Steelers run game goes to crap this week. Leaving the passing game the only choice. Lots of failed drives become field goals for Drunk Reed.

And the Favres will get some momentum and get a couple TD’s but in the end run out of gas.

I’m also seeing a safety for them. The score I picture is like 2 tds, 1 fg, 1 safety.

BTSC Obituaries

OldManSteeler, ominously died two days before Superbowl 123 where the Ravens are set to attempt their 7th superbowl win, facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He was 86. His last words are believed to be "MALOR CAN SUCK IT!!!". Like friends and family, we can only guess what this could mean.

We shall never know...

No, I wanted to pick a blowout now that Winfield is out, but I decided against it so I don’t look too homerish

Favre gets sacked at the end of the game for a safety, scoreboard doesn’t go to 200 so they take the points off the Vikings.

Yes

I have typed I don’t think it is our year for #7. Yet there is not enough evidence to know if we are playoff caliber which I think we are.

by steelerstyle on Oct 24, 2009 6:10 AM EDT up reply actions

If we lose this game I’m seeing a lot of field goals from the red zone. I also see Peterson running into the endzone from 4-8 yards out.

Has it dawned on you

That since Tomlin started here we have only lost by more than 7 points twice?

I don’t see it being a 11 point route
