I was paging through some google searches, not paying much attention, when I read that the Steelers had lined up in this formation for a few plays this season. I didn't think much about it. Later, I read that Kansas City used it a little last year. Being intrigued, I wanted to find the site again, but I could not, But I did snoop around. For what little I know about it, it's an interesting formation. As I read it, one of the principal advantages is that the RB has better vision and can also get a little speed built up to with which he can maximize the gaps he sees. I read somewhere that the play action, screen passing and zone reads can be used interchangeably from the same set with about equal probability of success. But it's about there that I get in over my head. Point is, I was wondering if the knowledgeable among us have more to share about it, even though it was/is probably just a trivial experiment.
