What was that????

Seriously??? Do you really think we can win the Super Bowl? A kick return for a TD? Over 300 yards passing to Brett? We needed two defensive touchdowns to squeak out a win? Our kicker can't tackle the returner? I mean, c'mon. The Vikings should still be undefeated. Did you see what the Bengals did to the Bears, who beat us? Our running backs keep fumbling in the red zone? Ben throws for way under 200 yards? Holmes and Ward hardly get any passes? I don't know how we got to 5-2. We should be 0-7. We're terrible.

Whoa. I didn't feel like myself there for a minute. I'm back now.

Go back and watch our game against Philly last year.

Then tell me we didn’t win the SB last year. One game is one game, at least we won this one.

I wasn’t pleased because we didn’t win - Mike Tomlin (after the 2009 week 2 loss to Chicago).

I saw what the Bengals did to the Bears. I also saw what the Bengals did with the Browns. This is the NFL. The other guys get paid also. If you think the Steelers are going to shred the undefeated Vikings, with no fumbles or mistakes or human frailty, then you might not be giving enough credence that the other guys are tying to win also. This isn’t college football or Major League Baseball where the haves run roughshod over the have-nots. In the NFL, every team is a have.

Yesterday was wonderful. Now let’s correct, improve and move on.

Also

We played the Bears in Chicago in the rain. Not exactly the ideal conditions for a pass first offense. The Bungals got a home game in clear weather against the Bears. Hard to compare the two.

Good point on the Bengals barely squeaking by the Browns.

But to counter your point

The Bears were passing just as much as we were in that game. The difference was that his receivers were catching the ball and he had more time in the pocket.

True

I just think we beat them 10 out of 10 times on a dry field.

It's a JOKE post - Satire

This post is a satire. Just a little poke at a certain style of posting here at BTSC.

Guess I was too subtle.

we knew that upabob

well, I did at least….I think alot of us are having fun at the expense (kind of, in a not too mean way) of all the whiners — I got it right away, and loved it.

I also just like doing the wave.

Wow I'm dense

How did I miss it? With all the question marks. Dammit!

You should have mentioned bearing your chest and I would have gotten it.

BTW

Not aimed at this post, but…

I always love the: “Well, we beat them by 10 points, and if the next team beats them by 15 points, that means they must be better…”

So, Cincinnati beats us by 3 and the Bears beat us by 3… so, by the above logic, they should have played to a tie. (Now that we know, thanks to McFive that they do, in fact, play to ties in the NFL…)

Just saying…

Agreed

Those comparisons don’t work in any sport, but they are made way too often.

It's even more ridiculous in college

Yeah. And it doesn’t take into account home or away. Cutler is a late TD pass (Hester took a short pass to the house) away from 0-3 on the road. Cincy lucked out in getting Chicago at home.
