Injury update

Does anyone know the update and status of the Timmons injury and Krische?  Will they be available for denver?  Who will play for Ryan Clark in denver?  It will be all hands on deck for that one...I expect them to be undefeated when we get there..well, lets hope they are undefeated when we get there...Will ben have a better gme there?  he played well there in the championship game, and rallyied us back, but lost there in 2007..can Ike stop marshall?  he looks like he could be a problem for us..

The first updates typically come with Tomlin’s Tuesday afternoon press conferences. So we’ll know tomorrow unless Wexell tweets out a scoop today, which has not yet happened (today).

Jim Wexell Tweet

Timmons in boot but says he’ll be back in 2 weeks. No info on Kirschke, although team told press box in-game return was possible. #steelers

Mundy is the real deal

He was an outstanding athlete at Woodland Hills,a school in a Pittsburgh suburb, and I witnessed his athletic ability firsthand when he was enrolled there.I believe he was Quad A player of the year. He played for a big time program at Michigan. He is quite intelligent with an outstanding Wonderlic score. He just needs time to learn our complicated defensive schemes.

"lets hope they are undefeated when we get there"

Yeah, maybe. But if they beat Baltimore, it’s going to suck here (at BTSC) next week. Unless you enjoy trolls. Has anyone been over to Mile High Report. As I commented elsewhere, their self-congratulatory blather is sickening. I personally wouldn’t mind seeing Baltimore tear them up just to shut them up.

plus it's still sorta early in the season

any loss for our division rivals is a good loss

+1

I doubt they beat Baltimore though. Baltimores been on a skid and will get off the schnide against them.

Which probably will motivate them to play us harder… ugh.

Hope I’m wrong. I’d love them to come in all cocky.

Steelers -- We throw rocks through Rembrandts

I read somewhere that we are now something like 5-0 against perfect teams… (Remember the Pats… 21 and done…?)

It seems that the Steelers cannot abide pretenders…

Hmmm, and isn’t there a no-loss team in Denver? Maybe we could go play them next.

By the way

My injury report is: My hamstring is fine. I had no problem walking from downtown to Heinz. My seats were in the lower level so I didn’t have to climb many stairs. I will be ok and could actually make it to Denver in two weeks if anyone wants to send me some tickets. :)

You're too much

Glad that hamstring is doing well, it shows in your typing when you’re not feeling well….

I am sort of favoring my left arm right now

I think it is offsetting the right hamstring.

You were held out of BTSC yesterday cuz of the arm arn? Hope it isn’t serious, glad it wasn’t carpal tunnel!

No I was actually here in a limited capacity

I was in the middle of recovering from doing a round trip (driving) to Pittsburgh Sunday and preparing for an 8 hour drive to DC today.

I’m hoping it’s a little more clear by afternoon/evening.

Be careful with that hamstring...

All that wonderful Beltway start/stop will sure feel good!!!

I hate the beltway!

I lved there for 4 years and my job was delivering autoparts in high school. I got well aquainted with the beltway and backroads.

Lot of fun, that road.

I think it’s worse than LA’s Expressway. At least in LA it’s 6 lanes that actually move. Maybe a little slow in rush hour, but the Beltway is ALWAYS slow.

Be safe…

Thanks...

rain will be cleared by the time I head south that’s a plus.

I'm P (rsi)

I’ll be writing, for sure, but slightly hampered by a nagging non-contact injury.
