The Curse of the Terrible Towel is Lifted! With bonus poll for fun!
The two titans who stepped on and defiled our sacred cloth have autographed a Terrible Towel and sent it to charity. They even acknowledged the curse was real! Let us all show mercy and compassion to them and their team, and let the curse be lifted from their tortured souls. We don't want Jeff Fisher committing suicide or something. And god knows Vince Young needs a pick up, he always looks so sad.

Jeff Fisher is a quality guy.
I’ve never seen a team crumble like the Titans have done this year. It must be the towel!

An ex-player
acknowledged “the curse” not Bullock or White.
‘F’ em. I hope they lose every game. I hated the Oilers when I was a kid and I hate ’em now.
No real problem with Fisher though. Reminds me some of Cowher.

Ah nice pick up. Didn't see that line.
At lease “A” Titan acknowledged it.

Please spell Bulluck's name right!
Why can’t people spell it correctly?!

Going to the Titans game Sunday
I considered bringing the TT, but changed my mind. I’ll forgive but will never forget. Do it again and watch the yankee bitch emerge… LOL
Bulluck (feel better smashville?) and White (who is a punk) can’t carry the equipment bags of the Steelers. That’s a curse in and of itself.
See ya at the Sommet when the Pens are in town too….

No actually out of pity.
They already flushed their season down the toilet~ all but eliminated mathematically from any hopes of a playoff. The difference is: We’ve “been there” before and we can act like it. The Titans….. well….

And I suppose you
can spell our QBs name without looking it up? You know the correct spelling of every player in the NFL, too I’ll bet.
Give me a break.

I want them to keep losing
It makes the quote in my signature funnier and funnier every week. And it makes me realize how warped Browns fans view on reality is.

He's going to drop TN like a bad habit after this year.
It was painfully clear that this was a contract year for LenDale. He dropped something like 40# and laid off the sauce to get “in shape”. Yeah, in shape to blow out of town when the first offer comes in. I don’t have any respect for him. He’s a wanna-be until he can walk the walk. He hasn’t earned the right to stomp anything.

0-6 that peaked with the Patriots 100-0 game
That, to me, felt like revenge enough.
But to top that off with the whole Fisher putting on their rivals’ jersey fiasco.
Yup. That’ll do it for me.

I Voted Yes
We already beat them and they pose no threat. They bow to the Towel. Go beat Indy…

That is not going to happen.
Peyton Manning is too good for the Titans’ extremely bad secondary.

Forgiveness is a virtue...
… and they don’t deserve the #1 draft pick.
by Varmint on Oct 31, 2009 4:03 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
I'll let them live
I hate em and they stank. This we all know.
But I echo Varmint’s thoughts, they dont deserve #1 overall. They wasted their last high pick, and they shouldnt get another one.
For that reason only I let em go. I still hate em and they stank though.

Sorry
F’ em this year, next year, and every year. Just a bunch of low class punks, that’s what happens when you get a little success and can’t act like you have been there before. No sympathy here.

Damn! Your poll is an even 66-66 split at this point.
You almost never see that with these polls.
Because I respect the hell out of Jeff Fisher as a coach, we beat the Titans, their season is officially over, and they have always played us tough I voted to lift the curse.
"Damnit mom! You almost ran over Greg Lloyd!"
at an autograph signing back in 95. He walked out in front of our minivan, and my mom almost hit him. He apologized.

It was a pretty decent game
I attended the game (early birthday present from a co-worker) and at the beginning it was an eerie, quiet crowd. Now we all know there’s NO FANS like Steeler fans… but this crowd was just very quiet. There WAS a TT in the crowd (although it was not mine). There was also a truck in the parking lot that flew the American Flag (top) and a Steeler 6X Champs flag (middle) and then a UT flag under it. Made me smile!
I did find it very hard not to cheer for Nate and Chris Hope (so I did). I think both Washington and Hope would have been perfectly happy staying Black and Gold. Kinda like Foote and Porter. Man those guys will always be Steelers in my heart.
Hope is continuing to live up to his generous nature and donating $100 per tackle to a local charity that provides shoes for those who need them. He’s a class act.
As anyone who has attended games outside of Heinz Field knows….. No fans rock the house like we do. We’ll see how the Titans handle themselves after playing really a pretty good game.
