Since the AFL/NFL merger, the Steelers own a regular season record of 365-237-2, 2nd best to the Miami Dolphins. The Dophins have a one game lead with a record of 366-236-2.
With a Steelers victory this weekend over the Detroit Lions, and if Miami is defeated by the New York Jets on Monday Night, the Pittsburgh Steelers will own (tied) the best record in the NFL since the 1970 merger.
