The BTSC Predict the Score Competition, Wk 10 vs Cincinatti Bengals

Still racing around like a headless chicken, organising jobs and what not.

The Steelers played a brilliant game on Monday. Shut out offensively in the first half and shut down by almost all means, the Steelers hit back in the 2nd half with a dominating effort, thumping the Broncos 28 - 10 and finally providing to us what he had been hoping for, which was an absolute burying of an opponent.

Rashard Mendenhall and Big Ben torched the Top ranked Orange Crush Defense, and the Steelers are well and truly hitting their stride.

This week, Cincinatti 2.0. This could be the division right here. Being swept by Cincinatti would mean we would have to finish with a better record than the Bengals to take the division.

I have never been more fired up for a game since the opener.

Bring it Cincinatti! Lets finish this!

This is Pittsburgh Steeler Troy Polamalu getting knocked around by the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii yesterday...
Minutes later, Troy caught the ocean going over the middle and smacked it right in the mouth. The ocean fumbled, Troy recovered and ran it into the endzone. The ocean never messed with Troy again.

Their offense stuttered against Baltimore’s so-so defense. I expect a further dip against the PolaMauler this weekend.

While our offense will continue its weekly 27-28 point scoring which is becoming more regular than a man who eats beans.

One good team Vs. One elite team

The bengals are good, but we’re elite.

Steelers 31- Steelers 10

Defense has average 12.75 Points per game with Troy back
Offense – We would have had 27+ points if it werent for the pick six and dropped TD. If the steelers don’t beat themselves they can score 31 at home.

You got me laughing with that one.

sure, how would it not be? Reigning champs, the bengals historical record against PIT is like 31-48 i think. vegas is giving PIT 7.5.

i respect your team. My heart is here in cincy and always will be, i grew up here on runny chili and i love my team (even though it rarely loves me back), but that doesn’t prevent me from respecting your franchise. In certain situations, i might even root for them (ie, i wished the bengals would have beat the broncos like i knew we could have. no sense crying about it now. What’s done is done, but in a strange way, it was nice to see overrated Josh McBubblescreen get his face pounded by our division 2 weeks in a row.)

so, yeah i admit it would be an upset.. you haven’t seen me say otherwise nor will you.

Appreciate it

Not that you think it would be an upset…but that you seem to be objective and level-headed. Just because we are division rivals doesn’t mean we can’t have civilized conversation. So I appreciate your take on this.

Actually…I believe this game is gonna be pretty close. You guys have a good squad. I don’t believe it’s gonna be as much of a shootout as people think. I’m gonna say 17-10 Steelers. You guys are definitely on the rise….but in the end, we have too many weapons on both sides of the ball….and being at home….should be a recipe for victory. Key word…“should”.

Before the season started I picked you guys to finish ahead of the Ravens…I think we’ll meet again in the playoffs…

Good luck.

Seriously, Hudepohl Dey and jsl413 really are pretty good dudes, as I said in the “Say to Bengals fans” thread.

"Polamalu’s lineage can be traced through several roots. Chuck Norris mated with an Amazon Queen, and on the other side, Tony Hawk mated with Mother Nature. The two children of these spawned and fused in a tantric love session to create Troy Polamalu. The mother however died as he tore through the birth canal with a spin move."

BTSC Obituaries

OldManSteeler, ominously died two days before Superbowl 123 where the Ravens are set to attempt their 7th superbowl win, facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He was 86. His last words are believed to be "MALOR CAN SUCK IT!!!". Like friends and family, we can only guess what this could mean.

Mike Wallace a huge day again, (they only have 2 CB’s) and a Ben pick makes the score closer than it is. Benson under 100 but not shut down, bad day for Carson, I’m thinking real bad. . .

31 – 9 Steelers for the win.

Rashard over 100, Hines and Heath TD Catch each, I think Troy owns Carson…so naturally I think the hair snags one outta nowhere.
