Best Steelers Bar in Richmond, VA?
With only the hapless Redskins on the tube this Sunday afternoon, I want to head to a bar to watch the Steelers take on the Bungles. All I want to know is, who's coming with me? I'd also like to know where to go. I was thinking the Tap House in Short Pump, as I've watched a few Pens games there in the past. Hit me up if you're interested. I'd love to find a good spot when the game is not on at home.

Richmond
Far and away the best Steeler bar in Richmond is The Playing Field. Unless you play billiards, it may resemble a dive during the week. But come Sundays it is the closest thing to Heinz field this side of the Mason Dixon. It is the home bar to the local Steel City Connection organization. It boasts a dedicated wall of HD TV’s to the Steeler games. Beers are cheap- and not just colored water they call bud light. For the Super Bowl last they hosted a tail gate party (complete with food, drinks, general hoopla) in the shopping center parking lot- along Broad Street.
It is the place in the capital city to watch a Steeler game.
I noticed a lot of blog police here, please report all grammatical/syntax errors to your sons or daughters as I am beyond improving.
I'm in Richmond.
I don’t know the answer to your question though. I stay in for the games so I can get my money out of the Sunday Ticket. I just wanted to shout out to a fellow Richmonder. We’re in the Midlothian area.
I’ve heard the Playing Field is nice. Also Mulligan’s on Hull Street I heard is popping on Sundays, could be worth checking out.
When I say who dey, you say we dey.

Is a pretty chill place. I go up there on wed to play poker, and Sun if the Steelers are not on tv. The Steelers are always very well represented. I will be there today for sure.
GO STEELERS!

Woot Woot!
Thanks so much for the responses. Look for me at the Triple Play on Sunday, I’ll be the guy in the Steelers jersey . . . oh wait.
