Around SBN: Eli Manning Wins MVP, Giants Presented Lombardi Trophy

Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) - Week 10 BTSC Open Thread (2nd Half)

A competitive, hard-hitting battle through the first 30 minutes. The Steelers defense continues to bend but not break, the special teams remain the team's most glaring liability, and the offensive struggles inside the red zone continue for another half. Oh yeah, Troy Polamalu's out for the remainder of the contest with a tweaked left knee.

Despite all that, the Steelers are up by 3 and will get the ball to start the 2nd half.

Let's Go Steelers!

So,

Did Polamalu hurt his left knee in week 1 or was it his right?

I'm liking where we're at

139 yards of offense
Good mix of pass (84) and run (55)
Our D is keeping them out of the endzone

Assuming we stick with recent trends and hold fast in the second half, we’ve got these guys beat. One good splash plan on D should light the fire we need.

Injured hip. Last play on that pitch to the outside he was obviously limping as he ran.

Here's to hoping

that we make some adjustments and own the second half like last week. Mendy only got 6 carries in the first half, same as last week. Let’s hope he hits his stride this half, ST is shored up, and and defense continues to work to cover for Troy’s absense. Lots of game to go.

BTSC Obituaries

OldManSteeler, ominously died two days before Superbowl 123 where the Ravens are set to attempt their 7th superbowl win, facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He was 86. His last words are believed to be "MALOR CAN SUCK IT!!!". Like friends and family, we can only guess what this could mean.
