pitt vs den
hey j-men here this will be a big game for me see my dad my uncle bad chad who is on this site are die hard Pitt fans because our high school where we all gradated wears black and gold like Pitt does this has special meaning for me this game does because we want to win bad me and my dad but i do adrime Pitt how their fans travel i have great respect for Pitt they are first class i think den will win but its 50-50with the way our home games are u guys will be the toughest game on our home slate i think den wins 24-21 but very close and very tight and for the record big Ben is a better QB but den has to make due with what they have

Good to see a post J-man.
I’d wish you luck on the game, but I’m pulling for the Steelers. We may be at the game, but undecided at this point. Pittsburgh travels well, the last time I was in Denver it seemed that 30% of the stands were Steelers.
I wasn’t pleased because we didn’t win - Mike Tomlin (after the 2009 week 2 loss to Chicago).

best of luck to your team j-man, but I’m hoping to see a win! :)

J-Man, you are a class act. You do always have nice things to say about us, and thank you for that. Denver fans usually seem so classy, I wish you guys could teach Baltimore and Cleveland how to be civilized. Anyway, good luck to your Broncos, may we see a great game Monday!!

I agree Big Ben is a better QB, but your coaching staff has done great with Orton. It will be a great game to see how good Denver and Pittsburgh really are, thanks for visiting!

My first High School actually had the Borown and Gold colors
Then I killed a guy and had to change schools. That school was Blue and White.

I definitely agree it is going to be a very close game. Of course, I disagree and think that Pittsburgh will prevail.
I am glad you have more sense than that Tom guy who thinks Orton is a better QB than Ben.
Anyway, hope to see you around this week for discussion about the upcoming game.

Now I have to keep an eye on you?
Look, I’m a Bronco fanatic…of course I love my QB.
Honestly, I am not a fan of BB, period. OK? Do you understand? My opinion? OK?

And your blatantly wrong is my opinion. So I will be making references to it all week.
Maybe 15-20 years down the line when Ben is making his HoF speech he will reference Orton. That is about as close as I see Orton getting to Ben’s level.

Ben in the HOF...
Child, Please!!
EVEN as an opinion, that is about 10 years premature, and VERY optimistic.
I will be making (fun of you) references to THAT for many years.

He's leaps and bounds ahead of Orton...

His TEAM is leaps and bounds...
…above any previous team Orton has played for. Ben is surrounded by talent, and has been his entire career. This is Kyle’s first EVER season with a TEAM around him. Look, I’m NOT claiming Kyle is a future HOFer, but I am saying you guys are VERY premature in donning Ben with a gold jacket.

Kyle QB'ed the Bears in '04...
The following year they went to the Superbowl. He has played for good team, don’t act like you got him from the Browns or Raiders. Prior to two seasons ago, he was on a perrenial playoff contender.

Well if every game of the year is a tie because Ben throws TDs on every drive, I guess so.
Actually, it would come down to which ever team got the ball first in OT. That’s the team that wins the SB.

obviously every team is not equal as far as the level of talent and depth of talent goes. But to attribute a QB’s success solely to the players around him is simply ignorant.
If that’s the case, then Joe Montana was overrated!! He can thank Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Brent Jones, Roger Craig, et. al. for his Super Bowl rings!

Furthermore
Russell, Quinn, Campbell – They suck.
Bulger, Collins – Washed up
Hasselbeck – Injuries derailed his career
Stafford – Rookie
Cassell – Essentially going through his sophmore slump. Also, he seems to have been a product of the system.

Using the term “Child Please” in any argument, is an auto-fail. Especially, if you are not a Bengals fan.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure QBs with multiple rings get into the HoF. And considering he has 2 and is just entering his 6th year, the “breakout” year for most QBs, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had more. Comparing Ben’s resume to Orton’s is like comparing a CEOs to a high school graduates.

That I will give him credit for. You can’t put a price on protecting the football.
Actually, I never said anything bad about Orton now that I think about it. He’s having a great year. I remember when he came out of Purdue after being the highest rated passer in DI that year…I swore he was going to be great. At least he’s gettting a second chance in Denver, and making the most of it.

I agree
Orton is not a bad QB at all, and he will get much better in McD’s system. I’ve always thought Orton was decent, just nowhere near Ben. J-Man, IMO, you got a major upgrade at the QB position.

Hey J-Man
Nice to hear your thoughts. I know youve been looking forward to this game as have I
I personally think the Ravens did exactly what the Steelers will do, which is come at the Broncos with a hit em in the mouth style.
Big Ben as been playing his best ball this year, and I sincerely think we will take this one out, but Denver is very very good at home, however we benefited from having a very long break before our longest road trip of the year
Good luck, hope its a great game!
