Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Are You SERIOUS?

Losing the the lowly chiefs took effort and work.  And once again the Steelers did EVERYTHING they could to ensure yet another victory to a team we should beat every time we play them.  Whatever coach is directly in charge of the kickoff team would be *FIRED* immediately.  This is not a knee jerk reaction..... but that alone has cost us now TWO WEEKS IN A ROW!

The 3rd and 2 call when you can smell the field goal line was HORRIBLE!!!  Not only do we end up punting but had we not lost 2 yards we can still potentially go for the kick to win.  But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I've been spoiled with 2 super bowl wins in 3 years.  This team has NO chance to win a single game in the playoffs.

ONWARD..................

breath usmc...

Yeah this one sucked. There certainly needs to be changes with the….oh where to begin…. everything. The defense in the second half had way too many miscue’s. This loss was a team effort.

Onward with ya…. to next weeks game.

Hey

Well said. You must be one of those type C personalities where I am a type A? You know what I mean. I wouldn’t have been a Drill Instructor in the Marines if I wasn’t a type (whatever). You know what I mean~

Actually I'm a type A personality

…but more importantly a “Mom”. Learned with 2 sets of twins and being a military family that “going off the deep end” isn’t an option in anything. Too many things can change. As a drill instructor; I’m surprised you don’t subscribe to the philosophy? Never, ever give up. That isn’t an option.

Chiefs fan here...

I have to disagree with your initial assessment of the Chiefs. Our record indicates we are a “lowly” team. At times, we play like a horrible team (see Philly/SD/Giants games).

However, we went toe-to-toe with Baltimore and basically lost the game in the last couple of minutes. We took Dallas into overtime. Week 2 versus the Raiders reminded me of this game. The Chiefs dominated the entire game only to collapse on the final Raiders drive.

My point is this: the Chiefs are often overlooked, but they shouldn’t be..we have had a track record this year of coming from behind. This team, while lacking talent at crucial positions, is valient and plays with passion.

Thank you for giving us an exciting game. It was one of the best football games I’ve followed in a long while.

One of the best teams in football.

A loss to the Chiefs doesn’t change what is written. My point is: I believe the Chiefs are a little better than what our record indicates. I wish we had a better offensive line, more talented safeties, and linebackers who can cover. Talent wise, we are lacking.

But I will not discredit the players who took the field. The problem with the Chiefs has been lack of identity…we’ve had certain players step up, but we haven’t found a way to win as a TEAM. We finally did that today against a terribly tough opponent.

You aren’t giving your team enough credit. The Steelers are contenders year in and year out. Ever since the Dick Vermeil era, KC has been plagued with a losing mindset. To come into Arrowhead (which is very hostile territory) and valiantly battle us to the bitter end is a victory in itself.

Let me leave it at this: your team will make the playoffs and most likely contend for another SB. You may have lost this battle, but you ultimately have won the war.

How about offering a more specific rebuttal?

The Chiefs are inexperienced and lack talent in certain key positions, yet the team never stops fighting.

The Chiefs just defeated one of the best teams in the NFL. I wouldn’t say that makes them horrible…I would say underrated.

The Chiefs just beat LAST years best team

Don’t get too excited Chiefs fans, your team played well and took advantage of everything we gave them. While you watched the game did the Steelers really look to you like one of the best teams in the NFL? Get Serious.
