Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

House is a Steelers Fan

Amongst the horrible after-effects of watching the Steelers lose to one of the worst teams in the NFL, I had at least one chuckle.

It happened tonight on House. Finally

Star-divide

For those who don't know, Omar Epps is pretty much a dead ringer for Mike Tomlin.

Anyway, House walks into the room tonight and says: "Hey, ready to save some guy's life?"

Dr. Chase asks him: "Why are you so happy?"

House replies: "Why shouldn't I be? I have most of the old team back plus a bunch of new draft picks. I feel like Mike Tomlin."

Close up on Dr. Foreman (Omar Epps) reacting. House looks at him carefully and adds:

"Well, probably not as much as you, but you get the point..."

I almost fell off of my couch laughing...

How the hell did I miss that?

Was it right after a commercial break? Sometimes I get a little aggresive with the FF button on my DVR….

Yeah

Real fast after the credits. Cuddy gives him the case file and he walks into the room… priceless…

I keep waiting for Tomlin to do a cameo on House!

Hopefully he won’t have any time for it until after February… but the way things are going, he might be able to film something for spring sweeps…

Cameo anyone?

Although I think that the chin is not the same, the ears and the forheads are different, the beard/mustache thing does lend a similarity to their looks. Have one shave and you would have next to nothing.

That being said, Imagine House walking up to the candy or pop machine and calling out “Dr. Foreman”. When the man at the vending machine turns, House recognizing his mistake, appologizes, “I’m sorry, I thought you were someone else.” As House walks away, slight bewilderment on the closeup face of Dr. House. He shakes his head. “Nah!” and keeps walking.

Better Yet

At the end of this Episode (which I just recently finished watching), House says softy:

“It is what it is…”

Although, if Foreman had said it, it may have been more Tomlinesque…
