SB hangover and unbalance offense is killing us.

Hi all,

Perhaps i'm just crazy but there are 2 thing i believe its making this team look bad, the first one a SB hangover, in most of the games and specially in the ones lost, the player seems to be over-confident, as if they believe that with only standi the field the opponent will fail to score, this i see it specially in the defense, and we have lost 3 games after go up by 7, 11 and 7 points, the the "easiest" games have costs us a lot, Detroit was in the game right until the end. This is clearly mental errors, this can be fixed quikly. The other thing that is making me crazy is that Rashard has an average of 5.1 yds/carry, and if he has 2 runs of less that 5 yds, our beloved coordinator shuts the run and start an air show of colosal dimensions, now this is good but you have to consider that with this kind of ofense you forget about time management and that our D is not shuting down the opponent in the 4th quarter, so if you score you will make it fast and the the D is not managing the game. This is the average of pass vs runs in the fist 10 games:

Week Pass% Runs% Outcome

W1 66.2 33.8 W in OT (tennesse follow a 5 loosing streak that includes a 59-0 or something)

W2 64.8 35.2 L (Chicago is 4-6)

W3 54.4 45.6 L (Cinci is 1st in our div but just los to Raiders, imagine if this game was played with heart)

W4 50.8 49.2 W (it was very impressive the win against SD)

W5 63.8 36.8 W (we can't make a statem againts the worst nfl team of the past few years)

W6 53.8 46.2 W (this a browns game, pointless to get something out of this one)

W7 59 41 W (the first game were the D stood up)

W9 51.8 48.2 W (we run and run and run and smash the broncos)

W10 71.4 28.6 L (No TD's? why don't we try score a TD in the run? maybe works)

W11 59.5 40.5 L in OT (this was with the KC chief the worst AFC team, besides the raiders)

Tot 64.5 35.5 Note i'm not counting the runs of Big Ben because that one came from broken passing plays.

When do you think our OC will notice this? if you run you control the clock, you give rest to your QB and your D, you break the opponents will.

Ok the Steelers is now a pass first team, that ok, i like it. but you can't forget the run, and you can't say that the fullback doesn't exist in your scheme.
