Cold and Hallow Heart

Stay connected for news and updates

Last night was a night in which I was completely disheartened by the play (or lack there of) of the Steelers. Here are a few things that just discouraged me to no end:

1. Allowing 8 total sacks in which our line looked like a bunch of lost sheep

2. Having an staggering 3 of 14 (21%) third down efficiency, even though efficient isn't close to what we were last night!

3. The biggest and most disappointing thing: THEY HAVE NO HEART!

Where is the heart at? They were defeated before they even walked on the field and I had no sense of enthusiasm or will to win. The only two off the top of my head who showed up on both sides of the ball were Holmes and Woodley. I can take a loss if we play with all our heart and effort, but after tonight I am just disappointed. We didn't want the win last night and Cleveland did. I am also sick of all the drama crap with Ben and Hines, although they said that everything is ok, it isn't! Something is still wrong in the locker room and if it doesn't get fixed quick, fast and in a hurry then we will be looking at 6-10. One more thing that I believe in my opinion needs to happen: Mike Tomlin needs to quit trying to be one of the boys and be the coach of the team. Sheep cannot be guided by sheep, they need a shepherd to lead them.

Colossians 3:23 - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
