How do the Bungles suck?
Against the Vikings today, let us count the ways:
1) 11 penalties for 85 yds.
2) 4 near-picks by Palmer in the 1st half; he finished the game with only 94 yds. passing (15 for 25)
3) With 30 seconds left in the 1st half of a close game, the Bungles try to get cute with a pass and the receiver fumbles, giving the Vikes an extra FG with only 4 seconds left.
4) Over 130 yds. for Adrian Peterson on the day.
So these guys are Super Bowl contenders??

Almost forgot:
5) Bungles kicker boots it out of bounds to start the 2nd half, giving the Vikes a first down on the 40 yard line to start the 2nd half.

What a great game it was

As much as I enjoyed watching them get beat
We probably should remain quiet until they are eliminated from the playoffs.
The Hell that Tomlin & the Steelers have unleashed on me this December is indescribable.
no doubt

Screw that.
Get in what you can. Bengals fans are the worst and deserve mock and ridicule at every opportunity.
I could care less what Bengals fans say about this year, I know this team alot better then them, and I think next year they are in for a good ole fashioned Pittsburgh mudhole stomping. Two of them in fact.
Temporary Saints fan.

You're serious?
Good lord. How can Steeler fans still say we’re better than the Bengals? We lost to them twice. Not once, twice. We’re three games behind them in the standings. We aren’t going to the playoffs because we can’t beat teams currently with records of 2-11, 3-10, 4-9 and 5-8.
The Bengals are better than the Steelers this year by every measuring stick. Have some character and accept it. The Bengals are gonna be division champs. We’re a non-playoff team working on next year.
I never said we were better.....
Ok fine, they beat us, finally, so they are “better.” I guess, if you want to look at it that way. Is KC better? OAK? CLE?! I think not. Winning matters and is a strong indicator of a teams talent compared to anothers, but I dont believe that just because they beat us in a shitty year, they are suddenly better. They sweep us next year, I’ll give it up to them. We have problems this year, and our luck is effing terrible. I still think there is something going on in the locker room we wont find out about until the end of the year, or its just what I said in my fanpost yesterday.
We will beat them, twice, next year. You can put money on that. There is far too much talent on this team for our time to just magically be up the year after our Super-Bowl.
Temporary Saints fan.
You missed the point
I am not saying their fans are saints and don’t deserve mockery. I am simply saying that it makes one look kind of silly ripping on a team that beat us twice this year. What compounds that is the fact that they could even go on to win a SB. If that happens and you were talking all this trash, it makes you look even sillier.

Ha.
If they beat the Saints or the Vikings in the SB, there is no God, Reason, or Order in the Universe and I’m done watching football.
As far as laughing at them, I will continue to do so at every opportunity, and when they say they beat us twice, I’ll just smile, hold up 6 fingers, and remind them that one year of good fortune does not a lifetime make.
Temporary Saints fan.
Stranger things have happened in the playoffs
I’d say our ’05 SB run was one of the most improbable runs in the history of the NFL. Yes, they may have just been trounced by the Vikings, but we were trounced by the Colts in the regular season of ’05.
Maybe I miss the grandeur of winning 6 SBs since I was only alive for 6 of them, but I’d rather be able to say my team is good right now than say it was good “back then”. Maybe that is just a difference of opinion though.

Ya but the past is always something to cherish.
I would rather say my team is great ALWAYS, and we win every Super-Bowl, but its not gonna happen.

Because they still have a chance at winning the SB and we don’t. That is one of many reasons.

Bengals could be falling apart
according to the genuises as Cincy Jungle Cedric Benson is upset but not at not winning the game no he is upset at not getting a 100 yards so could this be the unraveling of the bungals happing right before our eyes who knows

Maybe it'll hurt a little more next time he "thumbs" his nose at the League...
His suspension is in the cards if he doesn’t bring it down a notch.
When the tailgate drops, the BS stops. Shut up and play!
Great pun. Yes he could end up with a suspension eventually this is something I can deal with
I mean he isn’t taking Steroids or taking cheap shots at defensless players so I can handle it

I'm amazed he's still not unconscious by the leveling Ray Lewis put on him.
That was one of the most vicious hits I’ve seen in a long time. He bounces though. Amazing.

… but probably not a smart idea when your team ain’t even making the playoffs.

in all honesty
I occasionally find Chad Johnson’s jokes and what not. I laughed at the one dollar bribe ha. And there’s nothing wrong with him forking out to buy the tickets to get the Bengals on TV, and then giving them out.
I really don't care I like having Characters in the NFL its what makes the game fun

He gets on my last nerve...lol
I could watch him play all day. What an athlete…then…he opens his mouth or does something ridiculous and I’m done. He never knows when to stop.

Bottom line, though, is the same as with the other Bengals' so-called "stars."
He’s never helped them to win anything.
Just shows you that we aren't as bad as everyone thinks
And we’re not as good as we think either. We beat Denver handily and Minnesota by 10. The Bengals couldn’t do anything offensively against Denver and were beaten by 20 points today.
Our organization is going to attack our problems with a force in the offseason. And we’ll be back with a vengence.

Really no need for this post...
The Vikings are a good team, and it was a tough game.
Throwing stones in glass houses was never one of my favorite activities. Perhaps we should have put our stat line from our game against a one win Browns team, just for comparison sake against this stat line the Bengals put up against a playoff team.

Just pointing out
That whenever they face an important game, whether in this season or any season, the Bengals have a knack for choking. No doubt that the Steelers suck this year, but at least we have a track record and some reasonable confidence that this is only a temporary phase. With the Bengals, it’s a chronic condition.
So, whenever I hear someone touting the Bengals “resurgence,” I always have to laugh.
No worries Billy...
My main concern is opening an invitation for less than friendly trolls and or hostile Bengals fans. Our team has provided enough fodder for them this year, I don’t see a reason to invite any more nuisances then we already have.

Bungles are cry babies
I am not sure which AFC team I hat more the Bungles or the Patriots. Wonder who the Bungles will blame when they get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round.
By the way the Steelers beat the Vikings, 2010 SB Champions over the Chargers.

Comparing the Bengals and Steelers performences vs. Minnesota, in the interest of fairness...
1.) 3 penalties for 15 yards… We played more disciplined than the Bengals did.
2.) Ben’s week 7 stat line: 14 of 26; 175 yards; 1 TD/ no picks (sorry I couldn’t find a stat for near picks). Add to that Minnesota played us without their best corner, Antoine Winfield, who played ok yesterday (nine tackles) and I’d call Ben’s stats similar to Carson’s.
3.) I watched yesterday’s game and saw the play, free points are nice. There wasn’t any plays that it reminded me of in our game versus Minnesota. That said, capitalizing on errors is key to victory… We had 2 turnovers result directly in points, including a fumble and interception in the fourth which ended up being the difference in the game.
4.) Adrian Peterson had 129 yards against us.

Peterson: 60 receiving as well...
He had 97 yards rushing against the Bengals, and 40 yards receiving. (link)
So, in reality, it was 137 yards versus Cincy and 129 versus us.
