Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Perfect scenario for this week

So far everything we wanted to happen has happened after losing to the Browns, although it was all very realistic. Jags losing to the Colts, not surprised, are you? Now the comes the kicker, not only are we rooting for the Steelers this week (duh), but I'm assuming all of Steeler Nation is for the Bears this week as well.

It's come down to not having the playoffs be in our teams hands anymore, we need the Bears to win! And even if that happens we need to beat the Packers.

Miracle:

1 : an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs
2 : an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment

M&M's are tasty, but their also the first two letters of two things we need this week, a miracle and momentum. They're going to coincide. Steelers win, Ravens lose that's the miracle that will ride out into a major momentum shift for this team and I'm 99% sure they win out then, this is my gut feeling.

The most ideal scenario is obviously rooting against the Jets, Dolphins as well. Jaguars already put the first piece into play for us and sadly enough this is a domino effect that it going to be 66% attributed to how other teams perform. But will the M&M make this team a force to be reckoned with IF they make the playoffs? That's also a toss up don't you guys think?

I like peanut M&M's.

Bears over Ravens……………..tough one. Maybe Cutler will play well against someone other than us.

Maybe it's an AFC North thing?

If it is, I’m hoping on it this week!

How many Baltimore Ravens does it take to win a Super Bowl? Nobody knows and we may never find out

Cutler didn't play too well against us, however

But our secondary is better than Baltimore’s, as well. So it’s not an AFC North thing. That Said, I’m rooting for the Bears on Sunday as well. And if they can’t get it done, and we lose to SD, I may actually find myself rooting for you guys next Sunday.
Really hope we take care of business in SD…but it’s gonna be a tough game…too much going on with the team this week.

Slim 15, you will be missed. RIP Chris Henry

What?

27/38, 236 yards, 2 TDs, no int, and a rating of 104.7, that’s not playing well?

I have tickets to the Ravens-Steelers game.

I hope they still have a shot at that point. I really don’t want to drive the six and a half hours if they are eliminated.

Please move the decimal place to the right one place for the winners

And one place to the left for the losers in your post:)

cheex, you must not realize

that we want MIA to WIN!!! why????

in the even that the Jets don’t lose the two games we need them to, then in a situation where NYJ and MIA are tied with us at 9-7, we win the tiebreaker between the 3 of us!!!

however, if compared to just NYJ at 9-7 if we are 9-7, we LOSE the tiebreaker!

i hope you will think these things through next time…

My bad

I didn’t take the 3-team tie-breaker situation. But I mostly meant it in the terms of a miracle as in all teams lose 3 and we win 3.

Losing my TV coverage of the game

Because of this, Chicago loses Steelers vs. Pack on Fox. Time to find a sports bar. There is hope though – the Bears still haven’t left for Baltimore because the airport is closed. There is some speculation that it might be re-scheduled for Monday night.

M&M's wow

I’ve been eating them upside down all along and thought they were W&W’s.
After further review, they taste better upside down.

two key words would change to

win and witchcraft

"Now that I'm here, I don't want to just be here, I want to be here for a long time." Hines Ward, 1998 4th round draft pick.
