Ok, the concensus is that Ben holds the ball too long.  My humble opinion  is that he does some of the time, but mostly,it is the line's fault.  Because I am a bit of a steeler dork, and have free time, I decided to re-watch games and keep track. This is only one game, but here is what happened Sunday.

Ben was sacked 4 times.  All four were on the line.  3 he had less than 3 seconds, and 1 he had less than 4 seconds.  I don't know if guys were open, but that is not a long time to hold the ball.

Also, he escaped from pressure 8 times to make a play or throw it away. I think he had 3 throw aways, which I will agree, is a lot for him.

Just one game, but I will stay on it.  Even if he does hold it too long some of the time, I think his escapes make up for it.
